2) should NOT be used for speculation , investment, hoarding and similar crap
3) should be environmentally friendly that means should be minted(mined) on old PC machines
so that people with less resources can also participate in the network
4) should be multiplatform (win,Linux,macos and so on)
5) should be open source
6) should be decentralized
7) user friendly - easy to install and configure

secure against hacking and take downs
9) should grand user anonymity

Minus number 3, you just described GLDcoin. The transactions are anonymous, though quite slow in comparison to DGC, and it is surprisingly secure, especially for scrypt. GLDcoin may not be the next big altcoin, but its certainly a big step in the right direction. say someone were to take the best thiings about DGC and Combine it with the vision and the Anonymity and Security of GLDcoin, they would have them selves a real winner of a coin
