The Alts have made tremendous gains vs Fiat. When BTC / Fiat is at its peak, don't the Alt / Fiat have to collapse? People will be selling Alts to buy BTC. Right?

Most people who bought altcoins before, are now in a loss of BTC value at the moment, just remember when ethereum was about 0.12 each one of them.

Now it is less than 0.06, maybe if all those people who bought it on June of this year now could have the double of that amount if they just kept that bitcoin instead of buying ethereum.

The sames goes to doge and to almost all the altcoins in there.

Doge was  more than 300 satoshis before, and now it is just 30 sat/each, and it increased more than four times during this month.

I don't think there's any point making predictions about ALT/BTC when there are so many newcomers who've arrived recently. They're prime alt fodder and ridiculous super pumps are more than possible. There are more and more threads here about missing the BTC boat. That's an attitude that could be endemic everywhere. There's a whole world of shitcoins out there waiting to entice them.

And let's see what Bitcoin decides to do as well. It's all v unpredictable.

This is true to a certain extent. When BTC peaks (or is on a bull run), alts tend to lose value in BTC terms. However, they don't collapse. People might think BTC is the best bet, but they will still hedge their positions with some alt coins

A peak has nothing to do with it, generally when BTC/fiat is increasing (bitcoin value going up) then people sell their alts to buy bitcoin and the alt/fiat prices fall. But right now despite being close to an ATH bitcoin price has been stable for around a week and that's what's allowed altcoins to have this great run they're enjoying.

This is happening when BTC is having a bull run. Altcoins' price is tanking because people wants to get into the BTC train. But, you must always think that this is not an absolute rule and this can be changed in any time at any type of market we currently have. Look at what happened last 1st and 2nd quarter of this year, BTC rallied hard but altcoins' price also increased giving traders tenfold profit in their portfolio. We can just speculate on what's gonna happen but the reality is that no one knows what will happen. There's no absolute theory or practice to it. That's why diversification is very important.

BTC/fiat is still far away from it`s peak and there`s no connection between btc/fiat and alt/fiat.
Why not? During the recent BTC price increases most of the altcoins (like 95 of first 100 in coinmarketcap) were red. People were dumping them to buy BTC. And after had like 2-3l price increase some of the alts had like 30%+ at the first day.

Enjoy the alt ride while you can.
Speaking purely from my feeling, this could be last moments before btc and alt correct where I expect alt dropping a lot faster than btc when correction comes.

what correction are you talking about? can you give me an example of how the corrections work to alt and make bitcoin more higher? because I think when bitcoin getting up altcoin will be drop in btc but they will rise in value
altcoins have been getting such a massive pump in the price in the last few days that once the btc price gets a correction (probably after the 20k mark), altcoins will not only dip because btc is going up, but they will dip harder because of a possible correction. And I believe those two factors could potentially create a massive 'panic sell' meaning that altcoins could drop even lower.
Obviously, it's all speculation, but I'd be careful with alt right now.

This year, most of the altcoins are following the bitcoin bullish trend and get pumped. If bitcoin collapses, most of the altcoins will crash as well(but not all of them). If the people were selling alts and buying btc,the altcoins prices should decrease.I don`t think that the crypto traders will risk their portfolios only to bet everything on btc.
