Bumping the thread as I'm also looking for a good and reliable alternative to Changelly other than ShapeShift. Any suggestions?

New to the world of Crypto Currency and have been buying XRP, NEM, GNT Coins through changelly.com as there interface is easy to use and accept Debit/Credit Card here in UK.
However there fees are way too high and commission as well and looking for a similar exchange where I can ideally purchase Altcoins such as NEM, XRP and some others I am looking at?
Can anyone recommend a different exchange with reasonable rates. As had done two trial purchased with Changelly which were quick but after GBP/USD Conversion and amount of coins received think it was nearly working out at 20% less coins received.
I have looked at Bittrex but they don't seem to take debit/credit card and it looks more of a trading platform similar to Forex Exchange. Looking for Exchange that can purchase coins and transferred to wallet as looking to hold coins long term.
Recommendations welcome, Based in United Kingdom, Scotland.
