It is not as risky as btc pool mining but with the right tech from altcoin developers, you can acquire your own altcoin. the more miners of that altcoin, the higher its value will increase. I think personally for Altcoin in the future, I am more pleased with Genesis, because I see Genesis having a very good future in Altcoin trading
