Hello,

I was wondering what are now listing prices for the coins to be listed on the exchanges. I know that during the hype time these figures were absurd, however atm they are still not really appropriate.

Does anybody have any info how much does each exchange charge for the listing? What are actual costs of these exchanges to list it?
Getting a coin listed on an exchange, especially the bigger exchnages is a big problem. It's not an easy thing to do and you really need have a lot of money to do that, which can go as much as $1 million. Don't mind these people that are saying it' will cost you 5 BTC, lol, it costs more than that. I have heard of someone that offered up to $400,000 and didn't even get a reply.

So it cost a lot, that's why you need money to run a crypto business, it's not a small one. Small exchanges might charge you $300,000 or even $400,000 and some of the small exchnages charge more than that. But don't you think it is better to get your coin listed on a bigger exchange? Because any coin that is listed on a big exchange has higher rate of success.

This should be one of the most reasons why their are dumps when coins get listed on exchanges. A lot of the developers will want to sell as much as possible to recover their listing fees. I really give kudos to a lot of projects that do not launch through ICO's but still manage to hold sway when they are listed on exchanges

I was wondering too about the listing prices on known exchanges but there is no open information on exchange sites. Fees depend on the project's itself in my opinion.

Most of the exchanges like Latoken, which costs if I remember correctly 2btc and similar ones have stable prices.
However, I believe if the token shows good liquidity and many trades, they can give you some discount.
In general, this is all self-tuning, this is not normal, the exchange receives from the virgins for the listing, from the users for the trade, and in the case of hacking it does not respond with anything. A normal exchange with good service and non-horse commissions will appear sufficiently and everyone will gradually go there.

I don't think there's anyone that can give the exact price that exchanges demand from projects before listing them unless if you are inner member of them. But all the same, large and well established crypto exchanges will still be collecting high fee which could be the reason why many projects don't get listed on the platforms

Every exchange has a different fee for listing a coin, depending on their popularity because that's what is going to determine their daily volume. On some exchanges you could find prices going from as low as 1000$ but in general if you want to launch your coin on a pretty big exchange you will have to pay at least $15k-30 which is about 3-6btc

2 years ago, Binance took more than 500000$ for listing the token/coin on the exchange. Currently, fees are negotiable in my opinion because there is no concrete information regarding the listing on the big exchanges.

Never ever i don't think 3 million new coin listing fee in binance. https://bitcoinist.com/binance-chain-listing-coin/ in here published article details enough i think. But binance as a top exchange fee is too high.

Listing fees haven't gone down.
They are still ridiculous and they are still hurting the overall market.

But I believe its ok.
This will just speed up the rise of decentralized exchanges.
From the beginning, crypto should never have gone centralized.
It goes against what is most beneficial about crypto.
It's like taking all of the good things about something, then ignoring them and doing the complete opposite.

Cryptos true power will shine when mainstream gets in on daos, dexs, and smart contract communities.

Don't believe me? Jump into one of the many communities built around the true crypto ideals.
Don't know where to start? Steem might be a good place to start.

I think listing new coin in some exchanges will cost not less than 5 btc nowadays.
Exchange will need to integrating their wallet to the listed coin. Integrating wallet is not easy, especially if it outside the ethereum network.

i do not really know, but of course more big/famous exchange that take more cost.
for some exhchange like binance, they not take fee for listing, but they will look your project is it appropriate or not for the list in their exchange.
is it true that being registered with binance does not require a fee? I think all exchanges have fees to be paid by the developer of the token that you want to register on the exchange. maybe there are some of them who don't ask for a fee, but for an exchange of binance, is that right?

that will be the secret of the exchange because most exchange will disclose their actual listing fee.
i read on some article that said it cost 50 BTC or more to get listed on big exchange.
but in reality maybe it will cost more than that.

source : https://medium.com/assetrush/how-much-does-it-actually-cost-to-get-your-token-listed-51a63e2cbff9

There are many exchange in the community and they collect different FEE from the ICO team.
There are some exchange you dont ask for the payment and list your tokens as they are also collecting tokens to list on their exchange to add more volume.
Some just dont look for the amount, you should have also a strong social media page and some exchange before they will allow you to be o their website.
unfortunately this is not normal. When a team has to pay for listing on the stock exchange such money, more than one company has gone through it, Yes, they pay, receive a listing, dump the token pampyat on this exchange, and then the team has no money for marketing, and the token is gradually bent

In fact, everything depends on the exchange itself on its influence and reputation. Most exchanges do not charge a listing fee in order to attract turnovers, and I think this is pretty good, and of course there are good top exchanges that charge listing prices ranging from 2-4 bitcoins.

Exchanges included in the top 10 can safely request for the listing of at least several hundred thousand dollars, or even a million dollars. It is very expensive, especially at this time, but it is worth it. Listing coins on a large exchange can greatly raise its price and give investors a good profit.

There are few exchanges that are listing tokens for free and there are some exchanges that require huge listing fees like Binance, Okex or Huobi. It costs huge money to get listed on mentioned exchanges thats why only solid projects are listed there.

Different exchanges have their own exchange listing price. Just like exchanges have levels, so also their listing price. I know the prices are quite huge for some projects but I wonder why it has to be when the exchange will also gain with the trades of these tokens listed.

I am of the opinion that cryptocurrency exchanges should be open about their listing fees rather than leaving participants guessing. Some project developers after collecting over 20million usd from ICOs will list in a shitty exchange and claim they paid exorbitantly for it.

I agree here. Listing fees should be disclosed and transparent. But what can you do? Investors and crypto communities have basically no power to ask for anything. Projects that collected funds through ICO/STO can basically do what they want. Exchanges can do what they want - look at Binance, they just don't give a shit. No sanctions against any of the actors...

You are right my friend. Because no sanctions we have a mess on the market. You can find exchange script for just $30 and everyone can run his own exchange. With small fee charge, it's an easy way for scammers to promote his exchange listing.

It depends on what type of asset you want to list if it's a token you can list it for free on decentralized exchanges or if its your own coin you've created there are many smaller centralized exchanges with inexpensive listing fees, however, as aforementioned listing on a medium to large exchange that is ranked in the top 100 can involve huge fees although you can generally negotiate these based on the demand for your asset and market conditions

Each Exchange is of course a different cost and requirement for listing. If a large exchange is certainly very difficult if you want a listing. Because not only the costs but also the project. If the altcoin project is not good, certainly not arbitrarily listing in large exchanges. Unlike the small exchange listings. Of course the requirements and costs are certainly cheap.

I don't think anyone knows for sure unless you directly ask the owner of the exchange personally, what is clear is the price will vary from a large exchange as well as a small one.
Some developers have published it in the various article dude. all of opinions are based on the fact that already happened by so many people. But large exchange site will charge more but the rate will always be changed.
That depends on the agreement between developers and team.

Yep, that's true, most of exchange are very secretive regarding their listing fee, even some of exchanges give difference price for each project. But I don't think it reach 50 BTC even in big exchange like Binance. The price might be vary from 1-10 BTC.

Hey, from some community around telegram groups, listing a coin or token on a smaller exchanges will be charged around below 12 btc.
I think it will be depends on the bitcoin price in the market. Listing your coin in exchange is necessary if the demand of your coin already growing.
If there is no demand, then the coin will become a dead coin with no volume in exchanges.

Mostly, it is crazy expensive, better exchange mean bigger fee. Some exchanges are listing anything as long as you pay the listing fee. But some exchanges (binance, bittrex etc.) has more demand other than the money.
Binance,OKex & Huobi Global is big exchange so that demand is obviously high, I think Binance fee is 50 BTC now and i surely know that IDAX fee is 5-10 BTC. How much trade pair you can add that's the fact and fee increase and decrease depend on trade pair.
Oh and of course binance is not yet Selestat Scam project , I think the project should be good , and of course if the project goes on huge exchanges what he says about their seriousness
That guy doesn't even know about the truth if binance listing fees are around 5 millions dollars. The project must go to the exchange site consider about the coin must get more liquidity to support the price of token itself dude.

I heard that fees for listing altcoin is too expensive even in small exchange site.

Take a look at this article hereThe Cost to Get Listed on a Crypto Exchange

According to the article the listing fee is around $6,000-$30,000 for small exchange and $60,000-$300,000 for medium size exchange and for big exchanges the fees is too expensive.
I don't know if this is accurate but I believe that there are some exchanges with lesser fee.

That absurd when the market is sleeping arent they also get fee from trader. If you total all the moeny they collect in one alt then they can really a big sum in a year with it specially when the alt are active at trading.

Each exchange has its own individual listing price and the larger and more famous the stock exchange, the more expensive the listing cost. To find out the price, you must send a request to the exchange itself, because there is not so much information in the public domain. I know that many exchanges take part of the payment in Bitcoins or Ethereum, as well as part in tokens or coins of the hosted project.
Exchange itself will give you a fuller information about it. Because most of the information coming from the uninformeds will not be accurate. But, it will not be enough to have money in bigger exchanges.

I think a little-known exchange may reduce their prices , but such giants as finance clearly will not do this, due to the fact that if the coin gets to such an exchange, it will clearly be in the top of the crypto currency !

for a fee issue if the altcoin is a altcoin derivative from eth, eos, stellar, waves, etc. in my opinion it is better to start from dex exchange because the cost for the listing is very cheap, for the major exchange it usually costs a lot and the terms are not easy

each exchange set different rates and different minimum transactions so I can't say how much the fee and number of transactions you have to spend because it all depends on the exchanger you use
As far as I know, small exchangers will install a small fee while large exchangers will install a large fee
An example is etherdelta and binance, if you use etherdelta then the fee you will spend is small while if you use binance then the fee that you will spend will be much bigger

The best way you can get a direct and accurate answers other than the ones listed on some sites based on assumption is to compile the list of exchanges you pick interest in and feel are solid enough, contact the exchange directly to enquire the information requested, from there, you can filter your list and choose the ones that best suit your business.

Another alternatives is to go on each of their website to check their FAQ or Announcement, you might get an answer to your enquiry there. I have seen some people are providing such services for helping devs to get listed in a set of exchanges at discount prices as when they are dealing with multiple exchanges, it will be possible for them. But, I guess we do not need any such services as we can directly contact all the exchanges to list out.

I heard some of the larger more popular exchange ask for a few million in USD, not sure if this is true.
This is so untrue, how much is the project hard cap that they will request for listing fee running to millions of dollars, the biggest exchange for now is Binance which the highest I think there listing fee is about 100 BTC though listing fee depends on so many factors and the type of project but not up to half a million dollars.

There were some rumors sometimes that they were charging about 400 btc which was clarified by them and real figure came out as 50 btc, that was last year though and even if they have increased their listing fee, it cannot be above 100 BTC.

For now since there are new exchanges and are serious in managing the system then they are accepting it for free. Thus, making their exchange having a high traffic for transactions and to which the exchange platform will be able to earn by the deductions being made after the transaction is being made. So the higher the traffic in their exchang, the better earning or profit it will be for that exchange.

Especially the most famous services in the market, the listing fee is very high I know. If you need to look at the mundane services, it is a fact that these services also list very expensive prices. Services with low transaction volume and low popularity offer very low prices, but these services do not contribute much to transaction volumes. The high price demand for large and medium-sized services is a measure taken to prevent both brand awareness and scam projects from being listed. As a result, the capital of projects with serious capital and scam or failed projects cannot be calculated in the same class.

Many exchanges have lost part of the volume. Therefore, they are trying to make money on the listings of new coins. I do not think that the exchanges should take a large fee for this, but if the fees are not there will be a lot of very bad coins in the abirge.
If that was having a small exchange site and that doesn't make sense to see they will chart a lot of fees for listing. Remember about the main purpose for the coin to be listed on the exchange site to get more and more volume.

Look for the exchange you would like and verify from them how much it cost for listing

I remember hitbtc were asking 50btc for their full of fake volume Exchange. Binance was 500k $ if a remember correctly. But in hitbtc you can list every kind of shit if you pay but for binance it is not enough.

Hello,

I was wondering what are now listing prices for the coins to be listed on the exchanges. I know that during the hype time these figures were absurd, however atm they are still not really appropriate.

Does anybody have any info how much does each exchange charge for the listing? What are actual costs of these exchanges to list it?
I think there is no specific listing fee given by exchanges, the fee you pay for listing is totally dependent on the price the exchange have set aside for that. Most exchange charge a lot of money as listing fee about 5 btc, I know the money is much but I think they did it to curtail scammers. Exchange with low listing fees will always have a lot of scam coins listed on them because everyone can afford it, because a scammer will never want to spend that huge amount of money for listing a coin when they might not be able to recover it.

I heard some rumors about binance listing fee, it was unblivable, I wish there be some exchange soon that list project only because of their features not for money, binance5is a good exchange but doing thses kind of works would make it less popular.

I can say for sure that the listing on the stock exchanges of the top 10 is about 10 BTC. But on the other hand if the project assembled on ICO tens of millions of dollars, to pay for a good listing on the stock exchange is not difficult.
I believe that the payment for the listing should generally be minimal. And the exchange must examine the quality of the project. After all, the exchange earns on commissions. if the project is good then it will be tradeble

Today there are decentralized exchanges. Many people already use these markets for quick purchases from early investors who quickly start to panic or do not understand at all what they are doing. This is a really good choice.

I think it is still binance which is the expensive of all the exchanges.
But I am sure though that they all have different rules. Some do accepts a part of the total tokens and some do accept by buying their newly created exchange coin. Example is BNB.

Why not challenge yourself for a voting where you could be listed for a little price and also be known by becoming famous during the voting.
It just requires the best feature of your token and how legitimate it is.

Most of the decentralized exchange listing fees are still free, but In centralized exchanges, every exchange ask a high fee for the listing! Binance listing fee is sky high, hitbtc, bittrex listing fee also expensive. I found Latoken, P2PB2B, Exrates exchange fees are low but they are not enough good exchange. So, If you want to get listed in a mediocre exchange then you have to pay a high amount for that!

that will be the secret of the exchange because most exchange will disclose their actual listing fee.
i read on some article that said it cost 50 BTC or more to get listed on big exchange.
but in reality maybe it will cost more than that.

source : https://medium.com/assetrush/how-much-does-it-actually-cost-to-get-your-token-listed-51a63e2cbff9

does it mean for large exchanger like binance to reach 50 btc for each listing? and for the quotes in the small tokens token like the one in the forkdelta is only 0.5 btc? yes indeed if seen the difference is indeed very far between exchangers for top coins and exchangers, there are still many tokens there.

I have worked with multiple new coins in my life in crypto currency world. Many of them even before their ICO times and just on idea stage (which some of them didn't even make it to ICO) and I have worked with multiple coins that was post-ICO to get listed on exchanges and get news made about them.

Now first of all I can tell you getting your news written in huge places like ccn and so forth costs less than a thousand dollars depending on how you want the news, if you write it and publish it as press release its usually around 250 bucks, if you make them write it and publish it like actually news instead of supported (so hide the fact you paid them) its around 750 bucks.

When it comes to exchanges its a bit different, it depends on volume most of the time, higher the volume exchange has the higher price they want, it changes from 8 bitcoins to 200 bitcoins which was bittrex that asked for 200. They however do not guarantee a place there forever, you gotta make sure you have volume otherwise they keep you maximum of 2 years and than remove you if you do not have too much volume and you can kiss your 200 bitcoin good bye.

Thank you for your answer, it is quite helpful.

When exactly did you have the opportunity to deal with these prices?
Can you also reveal some estimations about other big ones (binance, okex, kraken, poloniex...) and some middle-small ones (Livecoin, Cobinhood...)?

How exactly did you handle the liquidity problem? With external market maker?

Exchange listing is not an easy thing to do especially to those low sale tokens. It would somehow cost a minimum of 11btc to a maximum of 50btc in my estimate. Of course it depends on the exchange the tokens want to be listed.

The estimate is based on something? As you have specified 11 BTC, so it is not just an approximation. However the estimation mentioned seems quite realistic.

specifically, I don't know clearly, but what I've heard is that for listings of some exchanger like Binance and Bittrex, DEV costs a lot. because the exchanger requested a high fee. so that the coin is good and with a good trading volume, it is the courage to list some of the exchangers.

If we are talking about those major exchange sites and it needs the millions of dollars to be listed on binance and okex. Medium exchange site will cost less than it but that depends on what exchange site that you have been applying to list your coin or token.

If you want to list into the big exchanges you will expect that the listing fee is very high, but if you want to list for free you can participate with their voting competition but don't expect that you will win if you join because many projects will participate with this competition and it depends on how many supporters will vote into your project, and there are exchanges that have a cheap listing fee but the exchange is not very famous and they have a small volume.

It does varies from exchange to exchange. Some exchanges even list for free, this is part of promotional purposes, when certain criteria are meant. I know binance still charges very. Some small exchanges with considerable trade volume, can charge as low as 1BTC or slightly less. The exchange one get listed on matters a great deal.

I don't understand how to get money from the listing business this way. Moreover, during the trading of these crypts and in withdrawal / deposit transactions, the fees are deducted. They also have the "zero risk" content to exchange during these transactions. It is ridiculous to request payment for listing.

I know that bigger exchange charge more than smaller. And I know that they charged more in the past than they do now (on average). I was hoping to receive actual numbers (approximations) of it, as all the articles which I found were older. And 6 months+ articles are quite old in crypto space as things change extremely fast...

https://cryptoplanex.com/ looks quite bad in a UX sense. And volume is really low, so I understand why 0,5 BTC... Something tells me that regulation is not their partner in the business.

I cannot vividly tell the amount exchanges charge, but you can approach their support to clarity on that.
What I know is that, most global exchanges have increased their listing fees, which is why some projects team find it difficult to list on them.

It`s not a fee, it`s a price for your token to get listed. I heard amount from 2 BTC and higher for some well known exchanges. On telegram you can
talk with many people, I saw this info from one admin in one ICO group. Apparently LA token exchange wanted 2 BTC to list their token.
Fee is something else, this is what you need to pay before everything. Later traders pay the fee when they trade or withdrawing coins/tokens from
exchange.
