NiceHash got a nice miner that also autoswitches to the most profitable coin. The only problem here is that you only get payed in BTC, and their fees are abit high. But now when u can transfer to Coinbase without fees its alittle better. I recently went back to NiceHash after their hack.

Most exchanges also charge small fees per transfer and additional fees upon withdrawal, another reason that makes constantly switching coins not incredibly profitable. Those are the two main reasons I just pick one or two coins to mine, including just plain price instability.

Awesome Miner is one piece of software I can pull off the top of my head that supports profit switching.

Sure ... Look up auto profit switching.  I would advise against most of them though.  It's not necessarily more profitable to be switching algo's twenty times a day.  You'll have a much better understanding of your numbers if you pick a profitable algo for your hardware and pick a coin that uses that algo.  Mine it, track your numbers daily, watch the price of the coin, do some fundamental research on the coin, sell it when you feel it's time to call bullshit.

Does a downloadable meta client for multiple altcoins exist?

My idea: since whattomine and similar sites often change the suggestions what to mine multiple times a day:

is there

- a client to be downloaded for more than one altcoin, or do I have to download them one by one?

Thank you in advance for your reply.
