Hi, I've been thinking is there any alt-coin that could be worth mining with a lower spec computers? or should I go over to the coinwarz and try to find one taht will be worth something?

i have also a lower spec computer but the hashrate you get from your system is important not the age,... so unless you can get a decent hashrate you can't earn much from your system.
also do not forget about your electric bill.

Monero (XMR) can be mined with a CPU or GPU. Its price has been steadily climbing so it would be a good one to mine.

you can find some altcoins here at the forum that can mine thru cpu only or hardware mining. but for some reason, they are not profitable if you are only using one computer. you need to have like 5 or more to have some profit out of it, maybe. but you can try atleast.

How low spec are you talking about? Low spec as in Raspberry Pi?
