Burst coin uses a different type of mining to normal that relies on the amount of hard drive space you let it use for storage. You might be able to mine that on a laptop but I'm not sure.

First off....do a lot of research.
Just thinking that you can effectively mine Bitcoin on a laptop suggests that you have a lot to learn, but take it from us, don't mine anything on it unless you are willing to see a seriously reduced lifespan for the laptop.

Crypto-currency isn't the easiest thing to get into for a  complete newbie, so I suggest that you start here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cryptocurrency
and then go here:
http://coinmarketcap.com/all/views/all/
take the top 10 currencies on CMC and research them all thoroughly.
CMC provides website and forum links for each currency, just to make it easy.

Once you've done that lot, you should have a basic understanding of the crypto-currency scene.

Thanks for this, I'll read and be back with a reply.

Take the others advice. There are some coins that you'll manage to get some coins out of, but it wont be worth it especially seeing as you run the risk of frying your laptop. will it be really worth doing that just for a few dollars in coins? I'd look at alternate ways of earning coins instead.

You certainly can but the only thing you'll likely achieve is reducing the lifespan of your laptop with all the heat while it would probably take like weeks to earn as much as a beer.

Can I mine altcoin on a normal laptop ? I'm new with coin

i7 / 6gb ram and 2gb ddr5 amd video card + 1gb intel graphic

no,
technically you can but it's not worth a shit toilet paper, you would end up spending more with electrical bill and harm your laptop.
