Although it is still hard to reach that certain goal for Altcoins and Bitcoin Segwit2x has been cancelled so basically most of the Altcoins will be increasing thus the Altcoin party will begin. I have a couple of Altcoins in my bags, like NEM, STR, XRP, SC and Waves. I'm trying to see if these coins will soon increase while Bitcoin is decreasing.
I just bought STR now. Amazing it went up 5x today. Aside from STR, DGB, XLM , XRP , BTS, SC are also going up. I also spare a good amount of BTC to average down just incase my current position may went down. Up next the secondary coins. May I know your crypto bags?
BTC with a $2000 gain, the party is better there than anywhere else. A Lot of fear over the past month for some, those with the faith have seen the returns and it is all wine and roses for those. I have seen more people hunting and pecking at old BTC wallets that they ignored and lost, looking for scarps in the past week than in any other time. Even the $7000 price boundary was not this exciting for many. Back then it was easy to see it coming, there were many here with doubts.
Swegit 2x cancelled means investment will go again in Altcoins 
I'm not convinced that their is any really recovery as of yet in the alt-coin market, it seems to be going sideways if anything with a few select coins each day pumping and dumping.
As for XRP, well wrong intuition on this one, price since October 10th:
Maybe it's time to buy again (at your own risk but I am optimistic long term).
today I see xrp is down to 1.5% I believe he will go back up at a fast pace, with some factors yesterday xrp decreased. I'm currently buying a lot. hope we all get a big profit from our purchase. Maybe it's time to buy again (at your own risk but I am optimistic long term).

This is totally expected to happen. So many people sold for huge losses without knowing that holding sometimes instead of claiming losses is actually and always good. What goes down will come back right up.
Actually, so many people were really lucky to sell their altcoins quickly and then buy back at the huge dips which is really going to pay off really good at the long run. Well played! Presently holding Qtum, Doge, RDD, Neo and Civic on the lows.
Strange though. I have seen altcoins getting red today. Am I missing something here? Or there are just few altcoins that are making good showing today? And it looks like $9B was wipeout already on the total marketcap and I'm seeing bitcoin as the most been affected by the slump.
Although it make sense to buy in this dip specially in altcoin, but I don't see it for long terms though. Maybe just a few joins has jump significantly because of a positive news like Stellar partnering with IBM but I don't see the whole altcoin market partying in the next couple of days.

What was the reason for the XLM pump? Was it the partnership with IBM? I totally missed the train. Envy the guys who got them for free in 2014.
Yes, the partnership with IBM really took the price of Stellar to the next level. A lot of us here are complaining about missing the boat (me too). Too bad for us. LOL. I think I'm not envy but more of blaming my self for not joining the train earlier. And it was just yesterday that I found out about the partnership and the price has really took off from the ground.

Most will dump this coins are meant to be long term investment, you better sell as fast as you can I experienced that before. My tip is to sell.
I just checked the charts and it seems that Stellar did more than 90% in just 24 hours, this is amazing, but the most important altcoins are still on red numbers, this is not good because only those coins are going up at the moment. The altcoin party will start once that the most important coins will be going up, like monero, litecoin and probably dash.
Monaco and Storj did a big pump today too, maybe we are going to see green numbers again
Yeah, but we need to wait until the bitcoin fork and free money party is over, as now investors focus on bitcoin and even sell their altcoins to have more money. When money goes back into the altcoins we can expect huge gains, so research the projects right now and buy when it's still cheap. Also even monero, litecoin or dash are the biggest ones, I think altcoins would benefit more from growth of cheaper, yet big enough projects like Lisk, Zcash, Waves or even Augur. Hi, XLM is an alias name for STR. Poloniex calls it STR, Bittrex calls it XLM. They are the same just like BCH and BCC for Bitcoin Cash, and XBT or BTC for Bitcoin.

altcoins really do have a fantastic run up until now, and have outperformed traditional investments by a mile (that's why everone gets invovled into blockchain), it reminds me of penny-stocks (small market cap / high returns), personally I hold XRP, ETH and NEO - XRP has received some good news lately and japanese banks are going all in on the tech, which is awesome and it's reflecting the price lately. ETH I'm invested for the obvious reason of mass adoption and NEO mostly as a hedge to ETH, in case it catches up and become more popular, even though that's highly unlikely.
