Hi Subwoofer, sorry for bumping an old thread.

I’m looking to get into a p&d group.

Are you still recruiting members?

Get back to me ASAP please.

Regards

Yes, we're trying to recruit again, shoot me a PM! Currently there's 20 members in the group, we're aiming to get at least 50 members before doing a pump

bobsurplus the most famous pump and dumper, coinflipper on twitter. Makes me feel old being only one in this thread knowing who you are talking about

Problem with pump and dump groups is eventually greed takes over and the guy at the top will get everyone's money. You have to completely trust everyone in the group especially the guy calling the shots. You guys might make some money but you'll lose it all back to the guy calling the shots...

yes you are correct but in the crypto world there is more pump and dump groups if we do not engage with them we can be looser too
Isnt really mandatory to join up those groups because we can always trade on our own without relying signals from those pump and dump groups. As been said above the guy whos on the top will mostly take out all of the money from those people who did join last and also you wont know if that coins is being pumped already and they are just waiting for you to come it and decide to dump. I really not prefer to join on this kind of groups i would rather trade on my own and learn over time on doing trading.

They would be shooting themselves in the foot,  the idea of the pump dump is so the people don't know what's going on before it happens you start telling people when it's going to happen, you start telling people why it's going to happen and no one will be there to make it worth happening. Using your own mind to trade is better sometimes than to trade with a Group.

well this is the new Cash for Gold scam out there basically we've seen on this very page of 100 new threads the terms “pump-and-dump groups” twice .this is something that's out of control, this is something that needs to be gotten under control and either ignored to the point where these people fade away. what a pump and dump group does is negated by advertising the facts publicly.

what I have seen in many long pumps is that it becomes a short pump frenzy hahah

That's what I'm hoping rule 2 will prevent xP

2) I'll announce the coin, the rule will be no member can buy-in at least 30 minutes after the announcement, this gives members time to discuss, if the majority of the group doesn't like the coin I picked, we'll cancel the current pump. Also, this will prevent 'sharks', if we see a giant buy wall appear, we'll cancel the pump, these will all be alts with quite small volume so it should be quite easy to figure out who in the group caused the giant buy candle

How do you explain that you are not another scam?

At least for now, your blueprint is like a scam.

Well to start with

  • I don't hold any users funds, you're placing the orders on the exchange yourself
  • No member in the group will be obligated to take part in a pump if they don't wish to, if you don't like the coin I picked you don't have to buy-in

I'm still working on the best way to make this as fair as possible, here's what I'm thinking so far

1) I'll give all members 24 hours notice that I plan on announcing a coin the next day

3) If the group agrees on the coin and no buy wall appears, we'll proceed with the pump. I'll set maximum price targets for the hour and instruct members to start buying in slowly*
*We do want to raise the price of the altcoin RELATIVELY quickly, but at the same time we don't want this to be a pump that only lasts 10 minutes where everyone loses, like I mentioned earlier we'll attempt to push the price higher for around 1.5-2.5 days

4) I'll set the time for members to start selling the coin off (also slowly, not all at once), in theory by this time enough investors from outside the group will have bought in also, so we'll be dumping on them not other group members

To elaborate more on the process to begin selling, members will be free to exit the market at any time they wish (provided they don't dump all at once), but the guideline will be wait until the sell time is announced, also I will set an 'absolute time' what this means is all members are free to dump the coin after this date, provided for some I'm unable to get online to announce a sell time, as an example a schedule could look like this

July 4 - Post announcement to group that coin will be announced at 7PM EDT July 5
July 5 - Announce coin, begin pumping
July 6 - Pump
July 7 - Pump
July 8 - Announce that sell period is coming soon (market begins plateauing)
July 9 - I announce sell period, All members begin to sell slowly
July 10 -
July 11 12PM - Anyone still holding the coin is free to dump at any price

As I mentioned this is just a rough draft, I'm still brainstorming still, but essentially this is how I plan on managing the group
Hopefully that answers some of your questions Wink

I have nothing against the pump and dump groups but if you don't want to blame others because the coin you invested in didn't pump up then I suggest you just stick to your instincts instead of riding what others had to say.

I think this does not depend on any group, the market is determined based on the psychology of investors

I think what he meant bob is "BipolarBob".
Personally, i think pump&dump group is another way to scam people. You will pump a shitcoin and once other people bought the shitcoin which you  have pumped before, you will dump it then they will lose their money. Of course you can only make pump/dump in shitcoin.
All compete to make people believe in pumper groups, and more people are deceived. dangerous.

Alts to the Moon - Pump Group

I'm trying to find a few other people to add to my Slack group who'd be interested in pumping some low volume (<2 BTC) altcoins. Our group is primarily made up of former FairPumps members. FairPumps used to be one of the largest groups for pump and dump but the admins disappeared and their website has gone offline.
The pumps we'll be doing will be longer than what's usually typical, the plan is to slowly raise the price over a day and half, exchanges we'll be using are YoBit and Cryptopia

I'm not looking for very many members, 75 at most, trying to keep this group relatively small
No fee to join, I'm just asking that each member have around 0.15 BTC to invest

If you'd like an invite just PM me with your answers to this questionnaire

1. Do you have at least 0.15 BTC you'd be willing to invest?
2. Do you have any experience trading Bitcoin?
3. Do you have any experience trading/pumping altcoins?

How this group works

I'm still working on the best way to make this as fair as possible, here's what I'm thinking so far
