He doesn't want to broadcast and disclose it to the people, he is just going to create this coin for his own purpose.
it wont ever be available for the public, it is just to prove something works.
This words from op will clearly tell that he doesn't have any intention to launch it to the public and will scam people or get investors.
It's a matter of building out his portfolio, maybe for learning purpose and getting more projects.

My question is what is the best proof of work to use for an altcoin nowadays? I want something that doesn't have asics or is anywhere near asics becoming a thing for it. Preferably something works best with gpu's.
