The crypto money market seems to have been affected by the fall of January. which should indicate to us that the spring months have arrived
Now untill end of may altcoin turn to shoot the moon. Bitcoin will shoot all time high again. Probably in june and my target is arround $30k. This bullish will be like last year bullish. I though we will face multi years bearish again but i am wrong. The market seems to recover and the trust seems to come back again now. Let see what will happen.
OP is right. For now everyone can see that all altcoin in crypto market are increasing very quickly. Almost altcoin is increasing x2 or even more than that if it's a good alt with high rank on CMC. There are no winter in this world. The whole market also pump and dump everyday, every hour.

In every year all crypto currency are developed a much than before so like that it will also the same all the currencies value will definitely increase higher than before the last year .

if we consider altcoin price movements are actually almost the same every year, lately altcoin already winter and move into a rising trend following the movement of bitcoin prices that have also been uptrend. yea i think the reason is taxes
Well, one thing for sure is that nobody can exactly predict the behavior of the market much more so in the world of cryptocurrency. And we have to remember that nothing is really permanent in this world and this is quite true in cryptocurrency with its volatile market which can swing anytime either up or down.
Winter went away, today everything is green and backing to norm. It is nothing new in cryptocurrencies so do not surprised next time.

Well, I waited for April and everything started to go up, it means the truth that by the winter they should rise to the former level otherwise, why was there so much to wait and every time wonder at the fall. Yes, there were many forecasts, personally I thought that closer to summer, but as you see our patience rewarded, now we are waiting for good performance. 
i believe as long as BTC and ETH is down all markets will remain on bear, as per my observation once the bitcoin dominance is on a good track all altcoins will be rallying too. Maybe cause most of the countries before they can enter a certain altcoin market they must first purchase this 2 pairs which is ETH and BTC. And basically BTC are the basis of the new comers for the stability of the whole market of cryptocurrency so maybe those new investors really want to see BTC stablize first before entering.

I think that already in March-April we will all see a big growth of the crypto-currency market. All coins from the top 10 in terms of capitalization, in my opinion will give a good profit.

The market recover is very far away from today i think. Market is in depression. And it can't pass easily. May be bitcoin will rise %50 or 60 but i think it is the bearish trap again. But one thing is consider my mind. It is the ath of shorts. I don't know what it is meaning.
I don't wait for a market reversal in the near future. But I see that the price of bitcoin goes down the descending channel. This can mean that the price will gradually fall. And this is crypto winter. I want to be optimistic, but I can't.

We need to pass this bear market. Usually in Summers we don't see rallies, maybe we have to wait until September or even more. Altcoins are heavily depend on Bitcoin so we can't split them into different sides.
I think (hope) that the future will show less dependency to bitcoin. Your statement that if BTC moons again, all alts will suffer is debatable. There have been several spikes the last few weeks, with alts hardly moving. However, I cannot predict the future, I can only hope alts will become less dependent (perhaps more alt/fiat pairing would do the trick).

Nobody knows how much time this "winter" lasts. The market is completely dependent on big whales (persons with great amount of BTC for example).You can monitor the wallets of such whales to predict price movement. >10k BTC wallets is Ok for monitoring.

Your expectations have not been met. The winter for Altcoin has come and still lasts. But there is good news. Winter is not eternal. I'm looking forward to spring and for the Altcoin system.

What to tell you was wrong, you already came in spring and how the bear market remained. The new forecast is the beginning of summer, but again this is inaccurate. 
I don't think that the correction is going to be completed so fast. With the huge rally the crypto market went through the correction will take longer than a few months. I expect few flash crashes before we see any signs of recovery in the markets.

The market gives you to understand that growth will not be soon, this correction dragged on for a very long time, so you can sell your assets, which save at least part of your funds. Unless, of course, you do not keep the most promising coins.

I think bitcoin needs a long time to shoot up.At present, the price of technology companies has gone down a lot, Amazon and Alibaba are the two companies with the most damage. So we can not count on the rapid recovery of bitcoin. The current cryptocurrency market has lost more than $ 120 billion. A horrible number and cryptocurrency need a period of 1 year to restore all.

what you are missing here is that bitcoin shooting up doesn't mean altcoins will shoot up too! in fact there is a very good chance that IF bitcoin shoots up, altcoins get dumped even more because a big bitcoin rise means all traders will invest their money in bitcoin and nothing else.

It really was long was it not? Now we just have to bear with a winter that is just as long. And do not worry, the winter could be long, but that just means the spring and summer will be coming when no one expects. Even better for us who want to weed out all the impatient players. Cannot wait to see the market emerge healthy. With fewer speculators, fewer stupid alts, and the strong ones just ready to roar. 2018 should be a time for us to rest anyway.

I think the prices are over dropping, there are too many panic investors that have bought cheap coins a few month ago, so I think it will recover soon. Then the altcoins will recover later.

Well, you may call it an altcoin winter or crypto winter if you want because it includes Bitcoin. This is normal. There are always pump and dump seasons in cryptocurrency. There is a time when we see almost every coin flying so high unbelievably. There are also times when we get frustrated because almost all cryptos are crying hard with blood. This will not last long of course. In the same manner that the flying of Bitcoin and the altcoins will also not go on indefinitely. Both continuous pump and dump of coins are not healthy to the entire world of crypto.

If bitcoin continues its way down then there is for sure going to be an altcoin winter.
Investors are a lot more cautious when it comes to altcoins as well so they'll get dumped heavily. They know that altcoins are a lot more volatile than bitcoin is, so anything happens on bitcoin, altcoin will probably suffer double.
But right now, no reason to think that this bull market will end.

I think you are wrong.
Alts are now more powerful than Bitcoin and are offering real usage, solving a real problems. The tendency will continue and I will not be surprised if the BTC dominance share on CMC gets under 10% in 2-3 years.

All coins from the top 10 in terms of capitalization, in my opinion will give a good profit.The reason why the market went down so much was a kind of a consensus of users that it's best to sell at current prices (for btc it was about $8k) to encourage more people to sell and then buy at superlow prices. And it did work for some time, but I believe that at $5k bitcoin reached the minimum which the majority couldn't ignore anymore, so people started buying again. I am sure more will follow and buy the coins at current prices, since it is pretty safe to say that all major coins will at least give 2x profit in about a year.
I also dont agree with an altcoin winter. The altcoins are still very strong in these hard times and I think they are going up again soon. I still expect a nice hand in hand pump like last year.
I personally think tgat the end of this year will be huge for both the btc and good altcoins, crypto market is expected to grow big with huge volume incoming and the prices will shoot up.

if bitcoin shoots up soon, that means altcoins will get dumped and people refer to this massive dump as "altcoin winter", it is a dumb phrase to use but some people like it.
and it is not a new thing for altcoins to get dumped like this after a big pumping season that they had last year. somebody needs to clean up the mess after all those pumps and as whales cash out, newbies panic and crash the altcoin market.

The price of the top coins is what makes it harder to invest in coins. A lot of investors are only sticking to the coins that are worth under $1.
Bitcoin is not always the same. I'm in crypto for about 8-9 months, and by the end of November, in the end of November 2007, I did not start to focus on the huge wave.
However, I hear about "Austroqin Winter".
I can get the idea that the Alt coins have the opposite reaction to BTC, and so when BTC closes once, the alts will drop down.
I keep hearing about putting stop-loss on the alts, but if I do not have anything I do not want to sell? Would things like Rich, ZRX, NEO, ICX survive "winter"? Or do all of them sell off and run btv wave and then enter the alert then?

Ethereum can beat bitcoin this year. It all depends on its owners. It's very easy for him to increase in price.
Bitcoin will rise from his knees and shoot. He already does it. And alternative coins will be behind him. They will seek to become as popular. And while they are in demand, they will grow.
The fact is that the pioneer (bitcoin) is far from ideal (as well as many other successful crypto currency), because the underlying software (and even the principles of construction) have flaws that have come to light with time. Therefore, it became inevitable the appearance of improved (or even working on other principles) versions, united under the common name altcoin.
People who invested in altcoin at an early stage (when these coins were worth a penny or did not cost anything at all) can use their odds (a large number of coins) and play on popularizing this currency (creating an excitement, for example, buying coins from themselves and thereby raising the rate ), then to sell these coins in tens or even hundreds of times more expensive.
Previously unknown to six months ago altcoin Neo. He has grown 200 times over the past six months. 200 times, Carl! If in the summer you invested a couple of dollars in it, then now you would be a dollar millionaire.
We can really never say that there are a Altcoin winter, Even though we can see that most of the price is at in red I really think it will not last long and we can see a bright sunny day again with all of the coins in the green value, I don't really think bitcoins going to go down again because this is outrageously nonsense in my opinion for bitcoin to go beyond that down trend again.
i think altcoins will recover pretty soon, probably after bitcoin's mooning spree. there'll be a slump soon enough
Bitcoin is mooning earlier and upon checking the altcoins are actually in red. I thought that when BTC is rising, altcoins follow so I wonder why altcoins are down. A friend told me that investors are probably transferring their altcoins to BTC that's why there is a dip. Hopefully everything will be on green next month 
Summer is around the corner and crypto will shine bright on us all the sun will shine our portfolios will thrive cant wait.
bitcoin is currently growing and rising. so what you think, I know, there will be no crypto that always grows all the time. there is always a downward reaction and a degree of stability, and at a stable bitcoin. there are many altcoins to be pumped

Well, one thing for sure is that nobody can exactly predict the behavior of the market much more so in the world of cryptocurrency. And we have to remember that nothing is really permanent in this world and this is quite true in cryptocurrency with its volatile market which can swing anytime either up or down.
I am sensing then that soon altcoins will be gaining their upward movement as the market is now starting to get back to its feet. Maybe at the end of the first quarter we can see some significant changes and I am expecting they can be positive not just for altcoins but also for the whole cryptocurrency market.
As of the moment, I think it's really a good thing to Buy and HODL at the moment, because of the big dump last time, I think this time around a huge surge will come, we just need to wait and see.

Since altcoins went down hard along with bitcoin, I think it will take quite some time for them to recover. I dont know how long but based from what I have notices, the only way for alts to go up is when bitcoins goes sideways. Thus if bitcoin will go up, some alts prices would still go down. I think that already in March-April we will all see a big growth of the crypto-currency market. All coins from the top 10 in terms of capitalization, in my opinion will give a good profit.
