Hello,

What is the best way to hold coins for long term so nobody hacked them.

My list of coins:
Digibite
Antshares
Stratis
Waves
XEM/NEM

What external device can you recommend to store these types of coin?

Is it possible to make a paper wallets on these coins?

for that list, i can give a recommend for you to use coinomy and coinpayments for android phone wallet. i see digibyte, stratis can be store in coinomi, waves can be store in coinpayments. for antshares and xem i don't know where is desktop wallet or android phone wallet. maybe for antshares and xem, you need to install desktop wallet so you can store in that place. i am not sure is it possible to make paper wallets or not because i am not yet to try, maybe later i will try it.

I think for now it's good enough. The most important thing is you have saved the private key and back up all other files. Also the wallet you use must be core wallet and do not use any wallet exchanger.

if good coin big coin, all wallet official is very safe
trezor and nano is good hardware wallet very safe, and support several altcoin, is good altcoin and big altcoin
I think all official wallets are very safe, The security also depends on the wearer. If we are able to keep the password and key confidential With the utmost secrecy, I think it's very safe.

Do not click links or come to the website carelessly. Wink
i agree all official wallets which came from the dev itself are the safest one to use, as we knew that you are i control if the wallet installed inside your computer, so better to download the wallet and keep it safe inside your possession.
I think also like that, downloading wallet is the safest way to store altcoin and Bitcoin you because only we can control it completely.

If you have an android wallet, coinomi covers around 40 or so altcoins, it's very convenient.
The wallet should cover all of the coins you listed. I use the wallet personally, though I'm not 100% sure if you have access to the private keys.

Use the core version of the wallets, if they have one of course, these days some coins try to be so innovative that nothing is warranted.
If they have a private key or equivalent then it is possible to cold storage, I think the same procedures for Bitcoin cold storage apply
