Litecoin MIGHT succeed, but not as much as bitcoin. Also I think bitcoin sounds sexier than litecoin Tongue

This.  I doubt there would be any other breakthroughs other than LTC or BTC.  I bought 260 LTC from BTC-e when they were only $2, they have doubled their value since then. Smiley

I think yes, there will be a future for the beginners of mining those coins. Those people who want to test it out and see how it works. I think it woll not riese like BTC but they got also there legitimation to be here Wink

Since the launch of Bitcoin, many copycats are created, some with new algorithms,such as scrypt, pow/pos, etc. But the framework is what defined by BTC. Any futures for these altcoins?
