I don't know why but I am still having doubts with this kind of offers.
Staking in a large number of listed coins?
Maybe it might work or maybe not.
I don't have the skills to check bugs and malwares and that is why I am holding myself from installing just any program in my computer.
Anyways, there should be other options.

The truth is none of these staking platforms have a measure in place to protect users against losses incurred for holding/staking these tokens. Until that is solved, I wouldn't consider staking a lucrative venture. I've seen a situation where there's a 10-20% drop for every 5% gotten from staking. That's not good enough. In the long run, It'll be difficult to reach the capital.

Staking is a process of gaining more tokens or coins noy meant for continous profit. If that's the case then many traders and crypto users will definitely focus on staking. Of course that's a different story, the best part in staking is you do nothing but you earn tokens well not big but depends on youre holding I guess. 5% will turn to bigger if the token price instantly increase.

Hacking! Hacking! Hacking! on the high side. Exchanges absconding with investors and hustlers' hard earned money. No one seems to hear their cries.
very pitiable to see people struggling to gather few bucks to make a life in crypto, ended being victims of unscrupulous acts of robbers displayed in exchange garment and or from the black hackers.

Many had participated in staking programs on exchanges eventually lost so bad. I suppose and doubt if the ALT project would compensate for that or the exchange would. But this can be prevented easily only if projects could partner with non-custodian decentralized wallets for robust staking programs such as @atomicwallet does. Maybe there are other wallets that provide such service, I really cannot tell of them as I only know of Atomic wallet since it is what I use for staking. Very cool. Visit https://atomicwallet.io for more info and download. I hope this helps if you have been looking for one.

I believe we can savage the old devilish act of scam exit if this practice is cultivated.

Currently, there are many projects that offer staking, both in the exchanger or in the wallet that we use. I think this is a good idea in the midst of the many token or coin prices that are going down and maybe staking will be able to inhibit the rate of price decline. In addition, investors also benefit because it is impossible for them to sell coins or at current price conditions

It didn't seem too safe to me either. But we can't talk about something 100% safe in this market. It is a logical investment for those who want to try. Because it is very difficult to make money in the falling market. At least it provides the opportunity to generate passive income.

Some exchanges offer staking, are ensured, and have high security, ecxx for example.
It doesn't seem so secure to me. staking to exchange will always be risky even if it's the most popular exchange ever existed, the chance of the hot wallet being hacked is just too high considering that no system is safe. It doesn't matter how much people saying that staking in exchange is safe it's just not and desktop wallet is a lot more preferable.

This is a topic that has been discussed over and over again, if there are still those who try, it is their own mistake. While it is not even advisable to keep the funds for a short time in exchanges, freezing the funds for 1 year is a huge risk. I fully agree with you and I strongly recommend the selection of paper wallets.

I do not know how exchanges work on staking, but if the staked coins are not insured, I never trust them. But it seems more logical to keep the coins in the cold wallet.

Trust wallet also offers staking: https://trustwallet.com/staking/

Remember you are using a software wallet and you are doing staking through your wallet and that gives more convenient compared when you are using the service from the exchange site to staking your crypto.
staking will not bring you to the full decentralization. If your concern is about to avoid the hacked case that happened severaltimes and to use the official wallet then download it to our PC is much prefetable.
but that's a common feature when it comes to the POS coin/token.

STP network is a decentralized platform that offers staking. You can stake their STPT token and earn rewards in other tokens. https://stp.network/

It's also open-source, anyone can check it for themselves, it's a great platform overall. They also conduct Micro token offerings from time to time, those can be really profitable btw.
