As you asked before guys this is one function lacking in whatsapp (for all contribution for this magnificent idea, I would be mostly pleased with a btc donation however knowing the looting spirit prevalent in today's world I don't need to check my inbox)

Yep, line. Or Wiichat. That's pretty much the same. Or if you're using an Apple device, you could use iMessage. It also uses data, and you can do group chats.
