Have you tried Okpay?
localbitcoins.com
Closest local seller is in a bordering country...

Have you tried Okpay?
I've been checking out their website. It seems like I can work with it, but I'd have to fund an account via wire transfer, which I'm already doing with Mt.Gox (I'd just be adding a middleman). Although it seems I can use this method to access other exchanges like BTC-E.

Are there any other ideas?

I want to buy BTC and hold them long-term in an offline wallet. The catch is that I live in Peru.

I bought $150 worth of BTC when I discovered it, back when the price was $35, from some website I paid via Western Union. Today I sent a wire transfer to Mt.Gox so I can buy more. The first method didn't give me much confidence (that website seems to be a two man operation) and this one is pretty slow (2-3 days to execute).

Since I'm Peruvian, I don't have access to Dwolla, Liberty Reserve, Perfect Money, etc. Is there another method I can get my Bitcoins with?
