💡 Websites, scripts for BTC web4crypto.xyz
With https://coinb.in you can create, sign and broadcast transactions manually or through their web wallet.

You need to enter your bitcoin address to get inputs and create a transaction, and you need to enter your private key to sign the transaction (coinb.in runs client-side in your browser with javascript, so that the coinbin server never sees your private key, but you can download coinb.in source and sign the tx offline).

I also used Guarda web wallet (https://guarda.co) for small altcoin transactions, but I dont know how secure it is for large amounts.

Do I need ID for greenadress and the two other web wallets listed at bitcoin.org?
You shouldnt need government ID for any crypto wallet. At most you would need an email address, password and possibly phone number for 2fa. You can use coinb.in to send and receive bitcoin with only a bitcoin address and private key (as bitcoin should be).

If you mean by "ID": Identity document or proof of identity, the answer is no.
wallet means that you can access your private key and therefore have full control of your coins.
The imposition of any type of proof of identity means that a third party controls the private key and thus will not become a wallet[1], just as happens with trading platforms[2].

remember to save your private key/seed and try it "check it" before sending any money/payment.

It can be this reason in general.

Bitcoin.org Removes All BitPay and Coinbase References

What web wallets do you recommend other than those on that list there?
Greenaddress but it's also fine if you'll use blockchain.com wallet.

They only have two web wallets and fail to mention blockchain.info in that list
EXPELLED: Bitcoin.org DELETES Coinbase, BitPay & Blockchain from their resources pages.

And it's not blockchain.info anymore it's .com already.

On all of the choices, what's your new preferred wallet?

There are nothing wrong with web wallets. It's just not as secure as a desktop or hardware wallet. A web wallet can get hacked easily.

i.e: Someone can send you a phishing link, you click and try to login to your web wallet. Intimidatingly, the scammer get your credentials and can take your bitcoin from your wallet.

A desktop wallet does not cost any money like some of the web wallet. For any kind of wallet, you need to keep a backup of your seed. If you have your seed then you can restore a wallet anytime.

Hi,
I suggest you to use Electrum wallet. If you need help then I have the step by step video tutorials for the forum. Please visit for the tutorials:
Idea: Courses [Video Tutorial 1.1.1 - Getting Started with Bitcoin Wallet]

Please remember, Electrum is more secure than any other online (hot) wallet. There are no chance for you to get hacked unless you intentionally or unintentionally expose your seed/private key.

I hope this will be helpful.
