May I know hilariousandco, how did you calculate the time "last Tuesday and 24th of June" ?

You'll pick it up once you've been around awhile, but here's a detailed thread explaining the times: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/til-activity-does-not-work-on-precisely-2-week-intervals-interval-timings-582736

Every period starts when unix time reaches a multiple of 1210000.
The current period starts at unix time 1402390000 (=1159*1210000), ie. 10 Jun 2014 08:46:40 GMT
The next period starts at unix time 1403600000 (=1160*1210000), ie. 24 Jun 2014 08:53:20 GMT

It depends on the posts you make in the two week periods (last one started the Tuesday past). You can only get a max of 14 activity points each fortnight. You won't get any more activity points until June 24th now. Make a post or posts on that day and you'll get another 14 points.

No I dont escrow anymore.
Now everything is clear but the only question that needs answer, what is the key for activity ? Posts or what ?

Posts and time. Thats what the "min(a,b)" function does when calculating acitvity. You cant just post a lot to get a lot of activity and you cant just lurk around to get a lot of activity. 1 post each day is the highest activity you can get.

There is no post limit, but spam rubbish and you likely be banned. However, there is a 2.4 btc post limit on PD's campaign.

The newbie restrictions are presumably the six minutes they have to wait inbetween posts. You and I have to wait about 10-12 seconds but it shouldn't be noticeable.

You can only get a max amount of 14 points for every two week period you have posted in.

Activity is nothing to do with the time you are logged in. Your logged in time won't go up if you're not actively browsing or posting etc.

I want to understand the following, if you don't mind,

- Is there "post limit" ?

- What is this newbie restrustion about ? Dodes it apply for us "Full Members" ?

- What is the keyword for activity ? Time or posts or what ?

- Can I increase time by just letting the computer on all the night with Bitcointalk page opened ?

You spoon-fed me, thank you.

But, why these examples might not work, what are the reasons ?

You're welcome.

100034 posts in 28 days would result in a ban before you made the 100k posts Smiley 28 days have 40320 minutes, so with the newbie restrictions (have to wait 6 minutes between posts) you just cant do that many posts in such a short time.

20 posts in 500 days is possible but your "time" value would most likely be lower because you need to post at least once within those 14 days for it to increase. So you could have a maximum of 20*14 = 280 days that count.

I need help in calculating my activity

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

- I can't understand still what is "time"

- What is min ?

- if we say activity=6(170,140), how will I write this on the calculator ?

Thanks

min(a,b) is the minimum function. It returns the smallest of the inputvalues. E.g. A = 3, B = 5

min(A,B) = 3

Time*14 is the number of days you have been active here. But its only updated every 14 days, so its not a biggie is you went away for a day or two. Thats why its multiplied by 14.

Sooo you have been here for 4 weeks -> time = 2 and posted 100034 posts (you filthy spammer)

activity = min(2*14, 100034) = min(28, 100034) = 28

Lets say you have been here for 500 weeks -> time = 250 and posted 20 times

activity = min(2*250, 20) = min(500, 20) = 20

These examples might not work for a number of reasons, but I wanted to make the "min(a,b)" part extra clear.
