Been into the crypto game for couple weeks....And third week realise I should make more if I just hold what i have.
how exactly did you come up to that conclusion?
lets assume when you say "couple weeks" you mean 4 weeks.
in the past 4 weeks ETH price has gone down from 0.078BTC to 0.053BTC and that is a -32% drop!
in other words "just holding" you are losing money.

meanwhile bitcoin has gone up from $3680 to $5700 in the same 4 weeks. and that is 54% rise.
in other words if you kept your money in bitcoin you would have earned profit!

I want to see how th price go after the bitcoin gold fork and Segwit2x in NOV. I hope the Ethereum price go up.
bitcoin forks should not have any effect on ETH price.

Well... advice is not my coupe of tea, however, I'll share what I think.

All ICO's (100% of them use ETH), though less than 1% of all of the ICO's will make any money. And that is exactly why you should stay away from ICO's. Though diversity is a good thing so consider such alternative coins like DASH or OmiseGo, Litecoin maybe Monera.

Don't hold for too long. Sell your assets from time to time (only at a profit of course) and reinvest you money afterwards, while the cryptocurrency is still fluctuating.

And finally- don't read whatever people wright here. I mean their thoughts are THEIR own thoughts and it's the only thing it reflects. So if you believe in ETH stay with it. Just be cautious and react to major changes on the market.

And keep us posted concerning your successes)

Been into the crypto game for couple weeks. First week spend lot of time reading and researching. Second week, start a bit on day trade, make single number % return. And third week realise I should make more if I just hold what i have. So I bought a hardware wallet and put away some Ethereum for mid term holding.

Now is the second day I m not buying or selling anything and I feel unsettling. I start to question my decision on holding Ethereum after keep reading posts. I guess it is too late to make any change and I want to see how th price go after the bitcoin gold fork and Segwit2x in NOV. I hope the Ethereum price go up.

What should I do while holding? I feel uncomfortable invest in ICO, can anyone explain to me if a lot ICO use Ethereum as platform, the the price of ether should go up hence a safer investment option against risky ICO? But what happened if 90% of these ICO didn’t deliver? Does people lose their faith on ICO hence Ethereum?

I see in June, the market cap of Ethereum is 80% to BTC but the price is not the highest in history. So does the market size really matter? I have no financial background and a lot of things seem doesn’t make sense to me. Especially the Jesus coin...
