From my understanding if you are still on an older fork of the chain then you can't sync, which in turn causes major hiccups in the network.

Cryptsy has been having some overload issues the past couple weeks.
I had a similar issue, sent some btc to my cryptsy account and it never showed. Looked in blockchain and it had 65 confirms then.
I contacted support and that is when they told me about the issues. They told me to check it in 4 hours and if nothing to contact them again. I ended up going to sleep and it was there in the morning.
All I can say is keep with support. As long as you can show it went to your cryptsy address you have a case. If your client had a fork issue when you sent it, you might be sol

If you are on the latest and greatest you shouldn't have any problems. The support team should help you figure out if it was a fork issue or not.

Recently I sent quark coins from my wallet to my crypsty account. The deposit never went through and the only feedback from crypsty stated it was a forked blockchain. I went through the steps to reload the blockchain and let it synch only to find the coins still missing... I contacted cryptsy but have to heard back from them.
Is this a common issue on the site, or am I doing something wrong? Am I ever going to see these coins again?
