Can we expect a crash and how would that be?

Government controle?
There are some exchanges that aren't controlled by the government. Just always remember that every exchange is bound to crash sooner or later even if they are running for a long time because everything meets it's end. Mt. Gox was a good proof to this and many other exchanges that shut down. Even if that is the case, continue to use them just be smart to not trade when it seems to be ready to crash.

I definitely don't want government control or even regulation on exchanges.  It's not like crypto exchanges are the only ones that have outages... the NYSE and NASDAQ have had outages and they're much more mature than the new crypto.

Well anything can happen!

I started off using poloniex but I found it too slow And a bit unpredictable
and I've seen one or two questionable events there

So I moved all my currencies to bittrex, its been loading and running smoothly
With the usual wallet maintenance as to live through.

It all depends how the bittrex development team operate going forward to
Prevent crashes. Like all the other exchanges its important to keep ahead
Of the growing interest in crypto.
