I like reference design cards for the simple fact, it's easier to find aftermarket coolers/water blocks that fit them! The third party, non-ref coolers are...definitely suckin'!

I think the reference design looks better. Also the red stripe is far better looking than the silly stickers the oems stick on.  Smiley

I feel weird admitting this, but I almost won't consider buying a card with a mid-mounted fan.  I like the monolithic looking boards with the fan at the very end, like this one:

My only exception is the 5830 that I just ordered, simply because it was a really good price.  Anybody else favor the reference form-factor cards for the aesthetics alone?
