I just experienced the same issue like you.
If the Gift cards that you used was illegal then i think there is no way to recover the account.
The account specialists won't email you and if they do,will be just same emails and they never response.
I send email to jeff bezos directly and after about 10 days i just receive an email that my account never recover at all since the GC that i used was bad ( i just bought a gift card from a trusted member on LBC ! )
So think about a new account and use legit GC's.

Did not get any email from them and account was still locked after 24 hours. So contacted chat again.

He said "I've checked the details and see that your account is on hold. This could be due to incorrect or incomplete billing information, or we may just need further authorization for an order. You may have already received an email about this."

Then he asked me for:

1) Real Name
2) Real Billing Address
3) Billing Phone Number

After I gave all this, he says "I've send an request to release your account. The account specialist will get back to you within next 24 hours. I hope this will be okay with you? "

I say yes and reconfirm later by saying "but it will be released within 24 hours right? Really dont want it to get delayed further"

To which he says: "Yes. It will be released within 24 hours."

But still no email after 10 hours, what do you guys think?

Best bet you can do right now is to wait for their account specialist to email you back then explain it to them Wink

Also, gave me pics of receipt (bought with debit) and the physical cards.

You made a NEW account then loaded it with only gift cards?   Big red flag.   Was the name and/or address on your account fake?   Were the items sent to your address are another address?  They can ask for ID and utility bills etc. The photos of receipt and cards are generally meaningless and easily Photoshopped.  Also if the cards were legit maybe HOW they were purchased was not and the bank flagged them.  If it was an existing REAL account of yours with previous use you can play dumb like bought it off Craigs List or eBay or a LEGIT website that sells recycled gift cards.

Logically people rarely go out and pay cash (or debit or credit) for something that is not a physical item then sell it at a loss.  If they have $100 cash in their pocket or in the bank then buy a $100 gift card with $100 there is virtually no rhyme or reason to sell it for a loss.  They should have just kept the cash.  That goes for here, LBC or anywhere.  It's a gamble.  Win some and lose some and hope in the end the average falls in your favor.  Eventually you're gonna get bit in the ass be it Starbucks, Amazon or anything sold on these type of forums as I am sure you are aware.  I'm sure you aren't naive.

Hopefully you can shuck & jive your way around this one.  During the days of Amazon Payments which was used for manufactured spending they held accounts (and the money in them) for MANY months when they wanted to for violating their terms.  Nothing illegal, just violating the TOS.  I can vouch for that personally.

 Good luck.  You may get away with it this time after some hassle but don't push your luck.

i advise you to wait do not contact them amazon have a history of suspending account whoever tease them by calling or mailing
just wait for their decision

Dont worry at all

Happened to me

they randomly review the account something had triggered your account

the worst case scenario would be they will suspend you but they will give you the right of appeal

which i did 2 times and won

but its rare they will suspend you if this hasn't happened before

they will definitely ask you question about recent activity either by phone or email (most cases mail)

make sure you carefully answer them dont write anything extra just to the point

make sure you do some homework before you answer question

because the answers will either suspend you or reinstate you

Hi

Needed some help here......

I made a new amazon account and bought a few gift cards from LBC and made 3 orders.

2 shipped and delivered,  3rd was supposed to ship tomorrow but today I found out I can't login. So I contacted chat support and they told me they have put a hold on my account and order and they are researching something on my account. When I ask what's wrong, they just say an account specialist will get back in 24 hours.

What I'm guessing is that the gift cards were probably charged back or something......

Is there any way I can get my account back? What should I tell them?
