I don't think deletion is the right action to take although I would suggest it should be moved to society and Off-topic with this there is love for one self, usually your statement are completely correct but due to how it's affected by our brothers we should have to also show some regards to them at this very moment.

Nope, translations can be done by anyone. I'm only entitled to translating any suggestions provided by my gang members. And our translated posts are usually those useful to Localboards. @ chilwell is also a member of the AOBT, as I requested him being my back up. But this translation wasn't from our gangs suggestions.

A clear and humble opinion you have given to him, we know that as a country we can also help in assisting other countries in any form of donations at will but bring 8)ing such discussion in the local board is not necessary, just like @Igebotz said such discussion is suitable in that particular local board and the general board as well if they are seeking for assistance from other bodies outside their own country.

That reminds me I thought there is an association in the forum called Alliance of Bitcointalk translators and @Hatchy is one of the members so I supposed translations from English to pigin are meant to be done by him?

The Nigeria Government have a good relationship with the two countries and our relationship is still intact which is why our position on this war is Neutral.

To be truthful, it's good to help no matter who is wrong or right, and to say the truth those who are injured and dead are the innocent ones so I think op did well to bring this to our notice but I don't think he would have posted it here on this board I suggest OP move it to the naija politics and society board because it's international related topic. However I have donated the little I can afford and I hope it go a long way for them.

@ chilwell, you did well translating this post thanks for your effort. But I'll suggest next time you consider very well if any translation is useful to the localboard before putting your effort into it. This will help you avoid wasted efforts. Please nextime you do well to consider what you are translating.



I was about to pm @ chilwell about this translation. Because we actually don't need it on our local board since it's nothing relating to our country Nigeria. it's relating to a donation for another country.

Donations can be be made for any country and by anyone. Chilwell did well in translating this donation thread. But still it may not be needed on our localboard. I have suggested to our localboard moderator already to move it to off topic board. I hope he considers it.

Many thanks @Chilwell for translating @derBowlers topic. Its great to see so many people helping to collect funds for his campaign, where he can help a lot of people.

As someone who is following @der Bowler's aid campaign closely, I would like to voice my opposition against a deletion of Chilwells translation. @derBowlers campaign is a great achievement, where Bitcoin donations can make a difference and I believe a translation for our Nigerian Forum members is an enrichment. If someone doesn't like the topic, no need to leave a comment but a deletion of that topic would be too much and a waste of @Chilwells effort.

We have other pressing issues in Nigeria that also need our donations- if this is not Nigeria related donations it's not acceptable here. Ukraine donations Should be on the Ukrainian board or the main forum. I will leave this discussion open for 24hrs and if there is no strong oppose from the community I will delete it.

Ambulance - Campaign

Hello everyone.

I don contact una again because dey don approach again say if we go fit organise few more ambulances.

The campaign for emergency vehicle wen we do last na the great one wey plenty doctors for Ukrainia don already join forces and dey dey use am travel go visit places for the country and dey dey use am provide medical care help but dey no longer dey drive am go Hospital because say infrastructure don destroy or e no longer dey able to do so themselves.
As ambulance dey very standard, be like mobile operating theatre, e dey even treat difficult cases, even soldiers and Military dey benefit from am, dey also dey ask for vehicle.

We, wey been dey organise aid transports and materials for all kinds for local people wey e don reach two years now, we go do anything wey we fit do to make am happen again.
As we dey get close contact with the military and with some aid organisations wey dey for the ground from the beginning and we don sabi each weller, we know say everything wey we dey gather together for here go arrive there and e go go the right hand.

So everything, and we really mean am say everything, goes one-to-one into the Projects and help for the People in Ukraine.

However, as this one don pass our financial means, we now dey dependent for external support, as say this one dey very different and no dey easy.

Maybe you go fit imagine to support us for this local project, no be say e go big ooo, but small small e go big and together we go dey strong.

Unfortunately, this kind help is still seen as very critical, which go also leads to hostility etc. so dey careful wen you wan ask, we don already experienced am a lot for here.
