Unfortunately by the time these are readily available some of the Scrypt ASICS may be out and if you are looking at $1500 for a GPU running roughly 2Mh/s or right around that price range for lets say an Alpha-T Viper 16Mh/s unit that will be pulling an estimated half the power of the estimated power of the new AMD 295x5 haha then to me the dollas' don't make no sense

you forgot that vga can mine everything, asic cannot, but they are still too overpriced at that price, should be 1K+
1k would probably site a little better with me too but even then... as far as mining in the coming months I don't think it will be a viable option... yes there are ASIC "resistant" coins that powerful GPU's could fold onto but that's only until there is enough interest/capital created to be worth the risk to invest in ASIC for that particular algorithm..
Either way I would like to get my hands on one to play around with at the very minimum
