..assume the same as with the 7470 ?

I acquired some for free, figured to give them a shot...they're pulling 35mh/s ...even clocked up....

7970 => 650 MH/s @ https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison

I don't see that other card listed in any tables.  I would consider using the 7970 for altcoins.

I would mine for coins that aren't well known but coins that still have some value because once all the ASICs come online, the already skyrocketing difficulty for bitcoin will rise even faster, making GPU mining uneconomical, although most people consider GPU mining already uneconomical. Then, most will go flooding the next most valuable coin, litecoin, thus driving the litecoin mining difficulty up. And so on for other coins.

HD 7570 has 624 GFLOP/s. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_AMD_graphics_processing_units)

I'd estimate you may get up to 85 MH/s with it mining SHA-256 based coins (eg. bitcoin) or roughly 85 KH/s with it mining scrypt based coins (eg. litecoins).

This is not a lot. You won't make much from mining with it. As it's OEM it might have overheating problems, especially with scrypt mining because of the high load on the memory (many OEM cards have no memory cooling).

Proceed with caution. I'd monitor core temps very closely with GPU-Z and memory chip temps with an IR thermometer or your finger if your feeling lucky.

My parents bought an HP computer with a AMD HD 7570 graphics card. I think it is only available to OEMs and is not sold retail. Anyone know what kind of performance that card will achieve for Bitcoin mining? I'm guessing it is pretty slow and won't be cost effective. I couldn't find any info on this card at https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison
