Sorry to bump an old thread, just wanted to give some input on the topic.
I've used ATI tray tools way before I learned about mining to overclock the 6750M in my MacBook Pro for games and it worked pretty well. I've managed to get the perfect amount of core overclock, memory underclock, undervoltage, <85C while getting ~95MH/s. With my gaming overclock profile it mines at ~100MH/s but the temps go over 100. I know the hash rate isn't high for today's standards but I thought it was impressive coming out of a pretty old graphics card.

Yeah, I would never mind for extended periods of time (read: at all) on my laptop. Too much heat in such a small space.

40-60 mh/s isn't worth mining for especially you'll kill your GPU easily in a couple of months.
I did mine for like 6 months on my laptop, some Radeon 5xxxM (NB: now, about 9 months later, it still works fine). Only reason I stopped is because with the dust accumulating I was getting worried about the increase in temperature (dry air wasn't enough to clean properly, apparently). Just check your GPU specs and make sure your temperature remains in a decent zone. For me I felt it was okay as long as it remained <90°C. Underclocking the memory (a lot, increases performance a bit) and optionally the GPU (a bit, decreases performance proportionally) can help control temperature, too.
But yeah, you won't get much out of such a hashrate anyway.

Thanks you.  I think I will non mine in laptop. I Never thought that heat can kill my GPU.

Google says your device is OpenCL capable, so you should be able to mine with it. However, the heat from the GPU could damage your laptop over a long period, so it's not recommended.

Make sure you have the latests catalyst drivers from AMD. What's your OS? Perhaps someone can help you out further.

Cgiminer or Diablominer are both good choices!

Hi:
I am new to mining. I spend several hours finding good mining software. I have AMD Radeon HD 6750M in my laptop . Can I use it for mining if yes then which mining software do I use for ? I have tried cgminer diablominer but could not do GPU mining.

I tried UFASOFT miner it works but only CPU mining.

  Any input is accepted.

Thanks
