maybe those cards 580 that give more power are just overclocked. This is a possible option because you have less power this type of memory on your video card. in general, I would not break up the video card if it's new and on the warranty yet. A possible option is from which miner you are using

I just reinstalled Windows 10 and reinstalled everything.
I have modded my GPU but still getting a same hashrate.
Please see my setting and advise what I have done differently.
Thank you

Did you set your gpu to compute mod from amd settings?

10 Uninstall adrenaline driver with DDU.

20 Reboot.

30 Reinstall blockchain driver.

40 If bios mod = no, goto 70

50 If bios mod = yes, goto 60

60 Run atikmdag-patcher.exe.  Click yes.

70 Reboot

If you just modify the bios to increase hashrate this is not the only thing you need to do when overclocking the bios you also need to install a driver to be able to work this kind of card in mining.

You need some guide here don't focus on the comment above they only suggest you to modify the bios but this is not the only thing you need to do.

I own a MSI RX 580 8gb gamex edition i think if you want to reach that kind of hash rate you need to update your drives for your gpu and mod your gpu, Mine is running at 30 to 31 MHz

I did and now I get this... Sad

use Win10-64Bit-Crimson-ReLive-Beta-Blockchain-Workloads-Aug23
CPU 1150-1200 MHz            1531 MHz  very much
Mem 2000-2100 MHz
Power lim 90
In this mode, no modifications to the BIOS you should be 25-26 MHz
after modifying the BIOS 29-30  MHz

Sometimes overclocked (too much), overheats and mod bios can cause the artifacts ... I don't know what methods did you used due to increasing the hashrate, but you should do it step by step (don't do all the thing at the same time).

Please give more info

- which AMD driver did you installed?
- What kind of Bios did you flashed .. One click timing or you just download mod bios from any site?
- Did you check GPU memory error at HWinfo?
- etc

I tried to do bios mod, but still getting a same hash rate.
Is there a way that I did everything correctly?
Thank you for your help

Which graphics version did you installed? If you didn't use blockchain driver make sure the compute mode (GPU Workload) is being enabled. You can check it at AMD Radeon settings.

You need to change the memory timings in the videocard bios. It is also possible to lower the voltage of the videochip to save electricity. It is not difficult. Instructions are on the forum and YouTube

Thank you for info.
I thought I did something wrong.

If I mod my GPU, can I go back to stock mod again?
I will try tonight and see a result.

Thank you

Yes you can.  Just save the stock (original) bios as a .rom file and flash it back when you want to return it to stock settings.

Hi,

I just started to mining with my RX580.
It seems like I am getting a lower hash rate than other users.

The card itself is on stock mod and didn't touch anything on MSI Afterburner.
I have attached a photo for your reference.
What should I do to reach 25-30 MH/s?

Thank you for your help.

You'll have to bios mod the card, plz note the warranty might be void if you mod it.
