Most projects which are looking for a way to hype their platform will always list the issues they found in Bitcoin and then claim to solve it, and the funny thing is, all these category of projects are still no where to be found, which begs the question, what happened to them? Simple, the team ran out of ideas which makes the project to struggle or they exited scam. What I am trying to state is that, all these upcoming projects should just focus on what they want and work on it, it's easier to write a long whitepaper with ideas and solutions but very difficult to put them to action.
Furthermore, i don't even know about this project and if it is really a better Bitcoin I think it should be among the top 10 or at least top 20 in coinmarketcap.
Lastly, there is no coin like Bitcoin, and this year alone has proved that fact, therefore lets invest in whatever coin we want but should not think there is any altcoin better than Bitcoin.

Don't say "a better bitcoin" we all know here that bitcoin is the backbone of all altcoins/cryptocurrency. In terms of technology, there are so many altcoins that already surpassed bitcoin actually, they are faster, low fees and lot of features like smartcontract, etc. I will tell you no matter how good they become nothing beats "trust" that bitcoin has. Don't say a better bitcoin is sounds like you want to replace bitcoin which will never happen, these striving projects needs to perform and not only by words.

Ampleforth a better bitcoin? Many projects claimed to be a better bitcoin but some already dead project so I doubt this project can stand for a long term. As others been said here its just a ponzi scheme so as what you have stated you are a long term investors but this project cant guarantees a solid one so I can say bitcoin is still the best among all coins in the market.

Thread title is awful and screams shitcoin.

Ampleforth is somehow looks like a ponzi coin. They do rebase and adjust the token supply based on the market condition. This is insane because the token amount that holders stored in there wallet are changing every rebase. The telegram channel is full of FUD about the token and the admin can't moderate. It's better to stay away on this coin or possibly trade for short term only. There is a chance that you will loss huge amount of instantly based on the coin price history.

AMPL/BTC graph showing that its good to enter right now that's why I do research about this coin. But sadly it is a ponzi DeFi coin. Stay away

I got some a few weeks ago. The premise is interesting. It's fascinating how different projects are trying to tackle the stable coin market.

Unfortunately for the developers, it's going to be difficult to convince people to not panic when they see their tokens in wallets reduced based on rebase. Even if the actual total USD value remains relatively unchanged, people will invariably get worried to see the tokens "taken away." That's just human psychology, for better or worse.

Like I said, the concept is interesting. You're buying a stake into the market cap of the coin. Just not sure how they will be able to see the machinations of the technology to the people just trying to make a quick buck.

Oopsie!

This is already a red flag. I also advise the same thing to avoid on it. I'm about to say that projects who say they are better than bitcoin should be avoided but then the surprise comes with what you have said.

That's what I'm thinking about this coin as some people have already accused the scheme that has already used by ampleforth team right now. You can see the supply was getting changed based on the intention by the team and this is a very bad coin. The hype is only helping this coin.

Top Crypto Casino
Mate, you have made a thread[1] about this coin on Altcoin Discussion.
[1] Can Ampleforth be a better Bitcoin?
I think there's no need for you to make one, you can lock the other and continue the speculations on this thread or vice versa.

I'm a long time investor. Will always be almost a maxi but the fact is Ampleworth has solved many of the issues of Bitcoin.

Non inflationary aiming for a 2019 US dollar. The supply is elastic and any added supply is given to holders. Complete gamechanger cause it can be stable enough to be currency but non inflationary to be a stored value.

Devs are bitcoin OGs. One created the first Android Bitcoin wallet with the CEO of Coinbase.

Watch between 4-9 minutes as one of the devs lays out an intelligent fact based argument why Ampl can be much bigger than Bitcoin.
