I would offer $4k plus shipping if the other offer falls through.

Ship to where, if you don't mind me asking?

If you received a low $4k offer you should take it. Antminer s2's are about to ship in the next 5 days @ $3600 each. a $400-$600 premium for a in hand product is probably the best you are going to pull.

I honestly believe his offer is fair, with a slight premium tossed in for delivering since I'm heading outta  my way a couple hundred miles. I guess if I could get close to the same sans the miles, it'll be a halfway descent offer.

Thanks for the valuable input, bd.

GL man, thanks for all the work you have put into rooting out scumbags. People may not like your tactics or the truth but in the end you have good intentions. Its defiantly appreciated.

So he offered a bounty in writing and didn't deliver.  His word is worth nothing.  What was the point of the bounty in the first place, so he could deliver an unenforceable cease and desist and you could countersue for the 20 BTC?

He painted himself into a corner with that public bounty offer, which exposed him to liability, and then was ready to level threats.  Those are the actions of a person acting without an attorney, ie, he was pissing in the wind all along, which I don't doubt you realized.

Good for you for getting something out of the trip.

I'll be happy to snug that thing up next to my Cointerra Terraminer IV if you don't want to drive to St. Louis.  It needs a friend and the Black Arrow X-3 that was supposed to be sitting next to it is nowhere in sight, so it is lonely.  Drop it off on the way home and I'll shove some of the filet I just butchered and a few beers in you and give you some fishing lessons.

No, I'm not trying to buy it.  Can't afford another 4-5K on mining gear without getting shot in the face by my wife, so I'm just goofing off, but the offer for dinner and fishing lessons stands....

I just edited the above from 800 MHs to 800 GHs, for I'm not versed in the terminology.

Though not mentioned, but implied, basically I'm seeking the best offer, leaving enough room on the table for somebody to receive a mining rig quickly and at a descent price point sans waiting and paying for shipping.

I have a 1.2 THs AMT Bitcoin Miner that was given to me from Josh Zipkin in lieu of the 20 BTC bounty that he offered to anybody who brought me to his office. The bounty was also good to be payable to me if I show up on my own accord, of which I did. There's more to the story of which I'd be happy to relay, but meanwhile this thread was created to sell the rig.

Four of the panels do hash at 800 GHs off the installed power supply, but a second power supply will be needed to power up the fifth panel. I'm not a miner, thus the term panel I opted to use may not apply, but pretty sure you get the drift.

The results were achieved without the rig being in "turbo" mode, whatever the fuck that means, thus realistically one should have no problem maintaining 1.0 THs.

On AMT's site, this rig currently sells for $5,599 USD sans shipping. I do have a kind offer in the low $4K area, but would have to vector to St. Louis to deliver it, of which I wouldn't mine doing unless a better offer in route to home (Sandwich, IL) manifests itself.

I'm not greedy nor shopping for the best price. Currently, I'm in Frederick, MD, at the Best Western. PM me or call 815-508-1668 if you're local and desire to see it this afternoon/tonight.

Quick aside: I stayed at Rassah and his companion's home last night, and they were gracious hosts. I got to see first-hand the famous Bitcoin (not themed) Coffee Table. Killer! For those familiar with the infamous Pinkie Pie thread, you folks know what I'm referring to.
