A little off topic to the thread but I have seen plenty of people use BitVest campaign all around the forums. Is it like the easiest to get into?

Has one of the most post requirements on the forum (60 posts weekly)
Has one of the most participants (50+)
Has less strict restrictions on the boards to post on.
Has a less strict requirements to become a member of the campaign but that doesn't mean we're accepting everybody that applies as there are alot of rejected applications more than accepted ones.

With this you'll likely see our ads all over the forum but if you notice someone abusing the forum and wearing our signature, report them both to moderators or on the signature thread and they'll be removed with immediate effect.

You would *think* that now this has happened again that at the end of every payment period a check to see if there is enough on average to cover the next payment +/- a bit of BTC would be an obvious step.

That has been the obvious steps as each fourth week, the wallet has always been refilled (with or without asking lightlord) it has been going on for the last 3 months for both campaign but this week it was missed and reason isn't known but it was never a doubt that the escrow wallet will be refilled. The pausing of the campaign was just a precaution step.

Starting from this month, the refilled will be requested every third week so we have one week funds left incase there's a delay in response (refilling the wallet then pausing the campaign) but we hope that won't be the case in the future.

Even if you are off people would still get paid most of what they were owed.

I can also see it being a PITA to deal with on the managers part and then getting lazy and messing it up and making it worse so there is that too.

I can't change the past, and it could have been managed better with something like the above, but perhaps a reconsideration to at least neutral, or perhaps even the removal of the tag, but any delayed payments issues that occur like in the past of in the future you can always add the tag once again.

Hey lightlord, I was hesitating because I don't like to be the bad guy but you're back at it again. Good thing I didn't remove your tag or change it to neutral, otherwise I would have to put it back to red again:
I hope what was in the escrow address was able to cover up the payments for the last campaign week and members don't have to wait until LightLord is back like last time? The campaigns are probably the lowest paying currently. Some genuine participants don't deserve to got through the double pain.

As of the time the campaign was paused, there were not enough funds to cover up all the payments for both campaigns, which are managed by the same manager, which was the reason for the campaign being suspended, but based on the announcement yesterday, the campaign has already been continued as their respective escrow addresses were refilled, which should be enough to cover up several weeks again. As I checked one of the escrow addresses, it's above $6000, which should be enough for 2 weeks or so based on how much their participants are being paid and how many campaigners they have in their.

This campaign is paused until further notice, you're free to remove signature and avatar as no post after this announcement will be accounted for. I haven't heard back from lightlord so instead of continuing the campaign and owing more debts is better we pause and wait on his feedback (wallet to be refilled).

If the campaign is to resume, all exiting members will retain their spots but for now you can go and try your luck elsewhere. I'll keep you updated as I get more clarity on what's stopping the refilled.

Regards,
Brainboss.

I also reviewed @lightlord is activity (Last Active: January 15, 2024, 12:32:43 AM), and don't understand why if he is active, he can respond to what you mentioned.

Despite you've done a good thing to make sure there's no delay in payments, but you can't expect people will immediately reconsider to change their feedback to neutral or removing the tag. This was happen two times on 2019 and 2021, I think the first case on 2019 should have trigger you to not repeat the same mistake.

Maybe you can ask reconsideration after next one or two years later.

I take into consideration what you say, and in my response to Lightlord I did not promise him that I would change the feedback to neutral, simply that I would take it into consideration. I believe he wrote the message in the best way that can be done, acknowledging that he had made mistakes in the past, asking if I would consider a change to neutral, and saying that if I ultimately didn't, he would understand.

In any case, the only thing I would consider is a color change. I believe what I wrote is true and remains true to this day.

In the past, I should have escrowed many weeks in advance and considered another campaign manager like CryptopreneurBrainboss.
A smooth shutdown can occur if the escrow funds run within 2 weeks of running out.

So if there isn't a top-off that occurs before it has around 2 weeks remaining, a message can be given that the campaign will shut down in 1-2 weeks, giving the participants enough time to change to another campaign.

Going forward, this is how campaigns will be done to ensure that there are no more delays.

I can't change the past, and it could have been managed better with something like the above, but perhaps a reconsideration to at least neutral, or perhaps even the removal of the tag, but any delayed payments issues that occur like in the past of in the future you can always add the tag once again.

Sure there might be multiple alt accounts participated in Bitvest, but can you catch it? that's good if you can catch it, if you don't have any proof, it's just an assumption.

I understand we can't expect too much when the campaign offer low payrate, so it's what it's, but this can be easily solved with a different mechanism. Decrease the total posts from 60 to 30 and decrease the total participants, it's not make you need to pay more, but you will get a better quality.

I think $75/30 posts for Hero, $55/30 posts for Senior Member, and $40/30 posts for Full Member are good enough.

It's help to combat the drama and bad image of Bitvest campaign, it's also help the campaign manager for not wasting time to accept and kick Tier E participants.

Poker Player, you can do as you wish, for your own reasons and without any argument from me.  I am inclined to let my feedback stand because of the way lightlord (and Lutpin) showed a complete disregard for the members who'd helped them advertise and who were likely afraid to speak up for fear of making their shitty situation even worse.

I figured I wasn't the only one lightlord had PMed, but I left him feedback for basically the same thing twice, once in 2019 and again in 2021.  I'm looking at his trust page now, and I see absolutely no indication that he won't pull that shit again--and the community needs to know about that, particularly those considering joining one of his campaigns.  I thought long and hard before I left the first feedback in 2019, because lightlord is an OG, a donator, and he'd earned a pretty high level of respect.  In the end I thought my decision was the correct one and unless someone convinces me otherwise, I'm not going to touch anything I left on his trust page.

* What's it with all this one-liner posting pattern of the participants in BITVEST signature CAMPAIGN??
I don't know about your other questions but on this one I think it was expected going by the campaign pay rate that many quality posters would not be interested in participating in the campaign except for low quality posters which is an opportunity for them since they can't find their way into high pay rate campaigns with a high competition that beats their standard.

I think some members even raised questions on their ANN thread about the payrate why it was of little or no difference from the previous rates before the collapse  to which lightlord gave his reply on that. However, if the posts weren't deleted by mods been a one liner post then it's left for the campaign manager to decide if those one liner posting pattern as OP puts it do meet his campaign rules criteria or not, for it's at his discretion to determine that for payment and not ours.

I also received a PM from Lightlord, asking nicely if I'd remove the tag. I guess he wrote to suchmoon as well. I will surely change it to neutral, I just want to wait a little bit to see that there is no one complaining about long delays when they request a withdrawal in their casino, which was part of my feedback as well. Regarding the quality of the participants, I think Brainboss does a good job, because with the rates offered by the campaign he will not be able to hire the best posters, but he ensures a minimum of quality and many of us were part of this campaign in the past.

IMO if Lightlord doesn't want to disclose anything to do with his health issues, he doesn't have to. He took a break to get healthy, or maybe he dies and a relative took over, or maybe he wasn't sick at all who knows. What I do know is he didn't pop on asking anyone for any money. He came on for the same reason he was here in the past which was to hire people to do marketing for his site. He asked people to hold money for the campaign to not fall victim to any criticism from his past.

All the trust he received in the past was valid as they were actions he could have avoided but didn't. It wasn't a 1 time thing either, he did it a load. Now he has filled the wallets of the manager and it's up to CryptoprenuerBrainboss to make sure they don't run dry. If lightlord doesn't fill them, he can pause the campaign until that issue is resolved assuming it even happens.

All your other questions were answered by others replying.

You weren't the campaign manager for the incident that happened that OP is referring to, or am I wrong?

Actually I was
Spreadsheet for round 146 has been updated. Spreadsheet has been handled over to lightlord for payment.

A total of 10 rounds is now been owed and that have to be address before continuing campaign. Information reaching me is that, lightlord is sick which is the reason behind his absence on the forum. Since I can't guarantee participants of been rewarded for other rounds, campaign has been paused until further notice.

After that announcement most participants still wanted me to continue the campaign even though they haven't been paid because they believed Lightlord will pay and for some other reasons I won't say. Lightlord did pay when he came back online but I wasn't happy with the delays and his absence as it was hurting the brand, I was also been owed as well like others. The campaign was paused indefinitely and it stayed that way until its return few days back but all participants were cared of outstanding debts. The whole situation was somehow complicated then and since he had a history of delayed payment everyone thought he was doing it on purpose meanwhile he was ill and did pay eventually when he got better and escrow funds to continue campaign (I receive funds for the newly launched campaign over a year ago) Bitvest Escrow Address: Current balance:

* Has anyone also noticed that they all suddenly became active from the very day the campaign was re-announced?... If these accounts aren't possible Alts, how were they pre-informed when they weren't active themselves??... Does it make any sense?..lol
Some of them may be alts, but CryptopreneurBrainboss has explained how it's not against the rules as long as they don't abuse campaigns with two accounts. Meanwhile, you don't need to be active to get quick information about new campaign or any thread on certain board, I mean you just need to turn on board notification and you will get the notification.

OP, I'll be damned if your thread here doesn't seem just a wee bit odd, timing wise.  I got a PM from lightlord a week or two ago asking if I would remove my negative feedback on him.  I suggested he start up a thread in Reputation to see what the community has to say about that--and yes, I'm perfectly capable of making that decision on my own but I thought it might be nice for him to actually get some feedback from members who were in one of his campaigns that Lutpin was managing and who wasn't paying out.  Lutpin had a role in that debacle, but ultimately it was lightlord's campaign and he didn't take care of it properly.

That was quite some time ago, but I do recall that there weren't many old-timers speaking up when other old-timers were fucking up.  I should probably search for some of the posts I made from way back then, but I'm being too lazyTM.  Actually I'm just exhausted, not lazy so don't count that one against me.

This thread is more suited in the reputation board not meta, I'm not Lightlord so I can't speak for him but as the campaign manager, you should note that just because accounts are becoming active again doesn't mean they'll be accepted into the campaign. Obviously alts might make their way into the campaign but that's not a crime when they're not abusing the campaign with two accounts. Having alts isn't a crime on the forum but abusing a campaign with them (based on the campaign rules) that's when it's a crime.

The campaign has some rules that'll help combat spam like
Quote
6. Constructive Posts, 150 characters minimum, and quality ranking will occur base upon the quality of your posting, and the better you post the higher the tier you may achieve, users can be promote or demote base upon the quality of their posting
Quote
2. Signature Spamming that is detrimental to the discussions in threads will not count as payment. If you're reported or caught for spamming you'll be removed from this campaign after 2 strike

This means those writing just one line spam posts will be rejected at the end of the week and if your write up don't have up to 150 characters it won't be eligible for payment (spams not included as they'll be rejected). Those found guilty will be kickout of the campaign as well.

Additional rules for accepting of participants says;
👉 If you have a red tag, neutral tag for spamming don't bother applying.
👉 If you have an inactive account don't bother applying (first page of post history still has posts from previous months).

I can boldly say no participants accepted is known to be a spammer as all those that applied with such tag were ignored and those doing so are putting their account at risk of been removed because immediately any tag is put on your account for spamming, you'll be removed. Those reported or caught have two strikes and so on.

Funds for the campaign are escrowed now unlike how it was unescrowed previously that brought about delay in payment and I have been in possession of the funds for over one year . Lightlord paid for his actions, his account has been ruined but I haven't seen an accusation of him scamming although there were delay in payments that has been handled by escrowing campaign funds.

If y'all can tell, I don't really make 'em posts except there is actually a substantial reason for that... It could be based on my prerogative atimes but, this is it;
Lightlord left the forum for a very long time and nobody fuckin' gave a shit about it.... The speculations behind that was pretty vague; some said he' was very sick and his health was deteriorating slowly, some said he actually disappeared just about the time he was supposed to remit the monthly funds to his then campaign manager, cryptopreneurbrainboss who's still his manager today...some weren't even able to reachout to him and they all bitterly complained about how his silence meant "treachery" to them.
I mean, no one was just gonna assume he's dead over the time he wasn't active... I HAVE THREE QUESTIONS TO ALL THIS.. I WASN'T A PARTICIPANT IN ANY OF HIS CAMPAIGNS BUT I'M WORRIED.
* Has lightlord made any post of reconcilation/acknowledgement on what exactly happened within the space of time he's been inactive??
* What's it with all this one-liner posting pattern of the participants in BITVEST signature CAMPAIGN??
* Has anyone noticed that most accounts on those campaigns were inactive during the period the campaign collapsed?
* Has anyone also noticed that they all suddenly became active from the very day the campaign was re-announced?... If these accounts aren't possible Alts, how were they pre-informed when they weren't active themselves??... Does it make any sense?..lol
