You need to spend a lot of money on advertising if you want your project to take off.  Without aggressive marketing your coin will end up in the graveyard with all the others.  There is just too much competition for your project to stick out from the crowd.

Maybe the people behind really need to hire someone to market the project if they wanted to take off. According to them, they have no competition, but I have seen a lot of supposedly alternative but the rest of them just fall on the category of just making money, sad to say.

Why do you need it?
Because it's a bet on our future.
If everyone adopted this new currency instead of using crypto currencies, a lot of energy would be spared. ( You can find an interesting article about the topic here: https://digiconomist.net/bitcoin-energy-consumption )

This is not enough. I've seen in history plenty of coins that have only changed algo or the way the coins are distributed. It's not enough to have success, users, value.
Also, for value, if the users can only wait long enough and they'll receive coins for free, why would they pay for them and even more, what would make this coin have the value so it can be used as a correct mean of exchange between labor, goods, services?

I think that you'll have to enhance your idea (much) more. Good luck though.

That's a good plan, but when you develop it an alternate to the cryptocurrency you need to make it published with some other terms. On Google play store it is mentioned as byonicoin eco cryptocurrency. In what aspect will the coin will be valued, in terms of fiat or in terms of bitcoin. A new concept, but I don't find it different from the cryptocurrency that's been already into use.

Hi everyone!

We are an Italian startup. We made a new app. It's an eco alternative to crypto currency. You can find it on the Google Play Store here: http://byonicoin.com
We are currently working on the iOS version.

What does it do?
We thought that crypto currencies are a really great concept in theory but in the real world they are slow and really bad for the environment. This new currency provides the same chance of winning to everyone who enters a free daily lottery. No need for expensive miners and electricity. Through the app you can also send and receive byonicoins (the currency) just by using a username.

Why do you need it?
Because it's a bet on our future.
If everyone adopted this new currency instead of using crypto currencies, a lot of energy would be spared. ( You can find an interesting article about the topic here: https://digiconomist.net/bitcoin-energy-consumption )

Who is it for?
Open minded people who are looking for something new and exciting in the tech industry.

What makes it stand out from the crowd?
This is the first eco alternative to crypto currencies. We have no competition (for now).

Thanks for your consideration!

Sincerely,
Matt from the Byonicoin team
