I am curious to know if anyone using a bitcoin wallet on Linux has ever been the victim of a successful keylogger or screen capture attack.

Wallet Security has been a concern and seen as a potential source of improvement. I was wondering if the need to better the security in the daily expense wallet (not talking about the BIG savings wallet; the needs are very different) is taking our focus away from working on the ease of adoption...

It would be great if everyone can share actual instances/ events of security compromise in this forum, an analysis of this would help all of us take a Data based call on whether as users, we look at more security; or as ideas, we look beyond security...my experience with blockchain has been pleasant for my expense account, and think the expense wallet should move towards ease and speed of use rather than bettering security to the point of impracticality in daily use
