I can imagine a few peoples heart skipped a beat upon discovering the message Cheesy I'm not entirely sure why SMF has opted for that kind of message whenever there's something quite not right. Causes panic among the community rather than being informative.

I guess this is because of the new system on the three boards in regards to bumping the topics: Bumping changes on some boards if I am right. Anyways, good thing it was not a serious as it was even though I haven't encountered it.

I got the same error as well, I did not freak out because I know if someone was trying to hack my account they wouldn't be notifying me  Grin , I thought theymos was trying an early April fool, anyhow glad we are good !

It's a generic SMF error for certain things, I just screwed something up. Fixed now.

I just saw this error when trying to post a message. What exactly triggers this error message? My garbage mobile connection tends to switch me IPs but usually i receive a different kind of error (Session validation error) but a refresh fixes it.

And the weirdest thing is that the message actually gets posted when this message shows...

That was 4 years ago but i just got the same exact message, could it be the same thing? theymos working on something?

*edit: got the same message again after posting this. I think it's a glitch in the forum.

Few minutes ago I tried to submit post on Bitcointalk and got very strange error:
Quote
An Error Has Occurred!
Hacking attempt
I have never faced such error on Bitcointalk and any other forum. Can somebody explain what did just happened.

I was just about to post exactly the same - this happened a few minutes ago when I wanted to post via mobile. I refreshed and all was "fine"...

And it just happened again when I posted the previous! Happening with every post now...
