Do you think Omnity could be used by students to find relevant information in regards to the material they are searching for?
it can be, but there will be a possibility of omnity will become the second option after Google, because Google is always dominant in providing information that is needed by many people, even a student, student, or researcher

From what I read it seems as though they are catering to a niche market. That niche market would be for research or educational purposes. Google will always dominate the general search queries. I think they know that which is why they decided to make a search engine with a singular niche over something that could be universally used such as Google.

Omnity will have the ability to link users to relevant information that they are actually looking for. It's a well known fact that search engines like Google utilize SEO (search engine optimization) to propel particular articles to the top of your search queries. Omnity wants to allow users to find specific material that they are looking for. They want to eliminate all of the useless information that users would have to sift through.

Quote From Forbes:

"There is a gap between relatable search with basic results and deep search with usable actual results. This is the gap that Omnity’s research and development platform will fill and expand on."

This type of program could be revolutionary for students, scholars, & researchers. There have been countless times where I was unable to find relevant information about science related material. Omnity will allow users to pinpoint specifics that they are looking for.

I think competing with Google is difficult but not impossible if the business model works well and the timing is right.
