Not sure it's worth grading an aluminum as the grading price would cost more than the coin. But you're welcome to. For the blank 5BTC, make sure you write it was never hologrammed, or they'll assume it's been redeemed (holo removed) and mark it as MS60 by default. Speaking from my experience.
They still may not grade it as high as a holo'd coin....best I got was MS65 for my 5 BTC blank.

The new ANACS form now has a selection for "Physical Cryptocurrency" - the max value you can claim it as per coin is $100. You are taking a risk when claiming them at a lower value, but you have no choice when using ANACS. ANACS uses very safe return shipping so I do not worry about it. Just claim each coins value @ $100 and call it a day. Also you no longer have to pay for the printing of first bits on slabs!
I was going to send off a few coins ive found that never made the sales and im wondering about the anacs form; specifically the part where it says the maximum dollar values for US mint coins and non mint coins.
Is the value of bitcoin now too high to get these graded or am I on one too many cups of coffee today and reading the form wrong.
Can anyone offer recent experiences on the matter?
Edit: also if they can still be graded would it be worth it to send in a few blank 5btc coins from the roll your own kit from many many bitmoons ago. Maybe even throw in one of those alu coins, i still have a bunch of those somewhere.
