You really cannot make anything much from Android minig.
You actually can if you do it right. Catch is, even a $20 phone is going to take a while - a month or more - to break even, and that doesn't even account for increasing difficulty. The winners are the ones who started early. A further catch is that the few who are making a good profit mining with cheap smartphones are going to keep a secret which coins they're mining so as not to invite a lot of new miners and greatly increase the difficulty.

can anyone help me about that by giving information of any equihash or ether mining app for android???

Actually none of the algorithm is recommended even if there is any. You should not mine with your android device as it is not designed to utilize cpu 100% 24/7.

You can find some "minning" apps for android but are just faucets.

Search in the store and download;

I have one but it takes to long for any kind of withdraw and you have to see some advertising every 10 minutes.

Good luck man.

Phones are too weak for mining, don't waste time for that. Like what few people always say about that, it will ruin your phone. If you find some apps that can be use for mining using your phone don't believe in that its scam. You know what try faucet, but becareful not all faucet are good, others are scam so try to pick the best one.

What is wrong with you people? Phones were too compact for mining. You will only ruin your phone. Phones were made for communication, voice call, sms and browse the internet. Sell your phone, invest it on a rig or use trading.

You cannot mine using your android phone and most of the application on android is just a scam of the developer to make money.

The only way that you can mine cryptocurrency is by getting a dedicated PC/rig that can cost you around $600 to $1000 depending on the hardware. Also there are two types of mining one would be GPU mining where you mine cryptocurrency using your GPU which is good in mining different cryotocurrency, the second will be ASIC mining if you want to mine bitcoin(BTC) specifically.

Also there are things to consider if you will be mining like is your electricity in your area cheap or you are getting it for free then getting a PC/rig for mining will be profitable for you, however if your electricity cost is very high in your area then you will be wasting your money.

Instead of Android mining, you could try Faucets. These are still worthless but at least they kill just your time, not your phone Smiley

There are a few mining apps for Android, seems mostly Scrypt. In the Scrypt range, the apps have reported speeds in the range of standard, out of the box laptops. I never went further than that. I assume there is a 50/50 chance that they are scams. I would think that anything besides Scrypt would need root access and the software would be hidden, without any open source. I am not willing to put that kind of trust into something that my old laptop can do.

How many sat can android miner mine a day?
That will depend on the Android device that is used.
But don't expect high amounts, it will be close to zero.

I see this question frequently on here.
The answer is no, ARM is way too under powered to mine.
For ASIC coins you wouldn't even mine a single cent per year and for most ASIC resistance coins the VRAM of an ARM device is too low to even handle the DAG size.
If you want to mine, just get a decent GPU or an ASIC miner.
Please, next time use the search function on this website to see if this question is already answered.

I invested in electroneum. Most of the mining for that coin will still be done using GPU devices since the algorithm for it is somewhat similar to Monero. The Android side of it will net you a little bit of coins. If you are expecting that you will get a lot, well sorry to break it to you buddy but you wont.

Minergate provide apps to mining with android or ios mobile phone but you cannot get profit from mobile mining because the hardware is not design for mining.

The only reliable way of android mining was for me mining BCN through minergate app. But wouldn't do it anymore. You shorten life time of your android app with low/none profit.

Best option for mining digital currency with Android is http://GlobalBoost-Y.com $BSTY. We developed the use of Yescrypt algo in Crypto, making our blockchain GPU and ASIC resistant.
I use my little $40 Android phone to mine the Boosty, works like a charm. Here's a guide: http://emmegirls.tumblr.com/post/164753476605/miningglobalboostbstyandroidneoneonminer

Big plans for GlobalBoost® next month Wink

its just a waste of time if you think that you can mining ether with your android phone because beside of increasing of the difficulty, you can not earn much of ether. its better if you buy some of vga cards then you can start for mining ether but you need to thinking about how much electricity you should pay in monthly. if your profit is bigger than your electricity fee then you are safe and you can continue to mining with the hardware. you only risk your android phone to get burned so fast if you used for mining ethereum but the choices is up to you.

A customized array of low power CPUs would beat a desktop on power efficiency. But that's not
a smartphone and Android wouldn't be the OS of choice.

A smartphone carries too much baggage (HW & SW) not related to mining and you need
many of them to match the performance of a basic desktop CPU. As I said it's only of intrerest to botnets.

I've never heard of Perk and can't find any info about it. What algo did it use?
When you can get quad core phones for $20 each or less, that was a cheap way to build up a mining cluster back in the day. Android actually doesn't have much overhead if native code is used, which the mining apps do. (Some tried mining Perk in a VM on a PC to find that if they could even get it to run, performance was very poor...)

Here's what remains of the Perk mining group:
https://www.reddit.com/r/perktv/

You'll find a few coiners trying to sell their mining setups and some who keep their (already paid for) setups still running even though it's a gamble if the mined coins would be accepted. (It costs next to nothing to power even a sizable cluster of phones.)

Cheap smartphones cannot compete with GPUs or ASICs, but they can compete with desktop CPUs when it comes to performance per watt and performance per dollar. Thus, a "smartphone coin" is just one that does not mine well on a GPU or ASIC. Perk was the big one back in the day, at least before it crashed.

Nowadays, mining with smartphones isn't really worth getting into unless you already have some old smartphones/tablets (that have next to no resale value) lying around unused. HDD coins are a better bet if you're looking for the best energy efficiency.

Just what is a smartphone coin, exactly? Do you mean a coin that can be mined on a smartphone?
There is no coin property that makes it attractive to mine on a smartphone.

Android and mining don't go together. Android is an OS designed for low power mobile devices.
It is not designed for continuous high power usage and neither are the devices than run it.

Mining on an Android device is like using a mini car to carry heavy loads, it's stupid.

Only botnets are interested in Android mining.

Smartphone coins, by their very nature, must be ASIC resistant and GPU resistant. And you need really cheap (as in less than $20) smartphones to have a chance of breaking even in a reasonable time nowadays. The time when you could mine Perk and break even in a week ended over a year ago.

There's no mining app for mobile devices and there will never be one because it will kill kill your device rapidly while earning you nothing.
The only monetary change you will incur is the loss of the amount of the amount of money you invested in your mobile device, because it will be dead.

A BIG BIG NO

Please do your research first, before asking these type of questions and let me tell you, there is a reason why people are investing in high-end GPUs and assembling their own rigs for mining rather than using compact computational devices and don't you think it's a bit tad to ask if you can mine on your Android smartphone!?
