Anmol_Verma has sent me a PM promising to improve his post quality, and I have agreed to lock this thread. I advised him that locking this thread does not guarantee that he does not receive a ban.

I have warned him that if I notice low quality posts from him in the future, then I will unlock and bump this thread.

i am sorry if my posts are of low quality.i apologize for that.i don't know much about bitcoins and still learning Sad
i promise i will try to improve my post quality.QuickSeller would you mind if i ask you to close the thread? i hereby promise to the community i will make good quality posts now Smiley

If you improve then I'm sure he will lock it but this thread will be the least of your worries if you dont as you'll likely get banned. How much you know about bitcoins isn't the point but the content and effort that goes into your posts.

Neither codishmumu or PrinceOfTea have signatures. They're just trolls doing what trolls do.

PrinceOfTea has been perma-banned, hasn't he?

Yeah, forgot about that.

just removing signatures all together for lower ranks similar in how only Full Members and above can have an avatar.
I quite like this idea myself. I recall there not being many campaigns available to those lower than Full/Senior members a year or two ago, and I don't remember there being quite as much spam from lower members.
PD from the start, were open for Members and above. Although I think a better solution to this will be disabling signatures for members lower than Member/Full member, as they get a low payment and they think this is a substitute to faucet, so they tend to spam quite a lot. After 1-2 months of being here , they will learn the basic knowhow and will most likely not spam . Just my 2 cents on the topic of spamming.
Although just curious hilarious, do you still get paid from PD for their signature?

Then of course there's just removing the ability for everyone to have a signature at all as a final option but hopefully some of the other suggestions can be tried first. Something needs to change though.
I don't think that signatures as a whole should be removed as that stops people having signatures similar to TomatoCage's where he has information relevant to himself. If it gets to the point where this is needed, I think that simply banning advertisements of services that the wearer doesn't own should suffice. Therefore people can still advertise things relevant to themselves without the idea of 'oh their being paid to spam'.

That , and I think you can cut out PrinceOfTea from the troll list as well, he gave away his pass and seems someone stole it already by changing the pass.
At any rate, on topic, IMO it is just a yobit spammer at least with some dignity to make new threads and spark discussions instead of just randomly posting in games and rounds board. And as hilarious has implied, nothing in the near future is going to be done about yobit, best idea would be to ban anyone with 50+ posts in games and rounds board, to ones who have yobit signature, if it really comes to that strict behaviour

the post you quoted might just be that the user is new and doesnt even know that much about bitcoin, hence he doesnt know the rules of the forum about spamming either.

Ignorance is not an excuse; a ban might be a great way for him to find out.
I do get irritated when accounts make 20 spammy posts for payment every day.

There's been quite a number of them lately and I'll be honest, codishmumu is another blatant abuser along with PrinceOfTea they keep making spammy posts instead of containing it all within one thread, PrinceOfTea writes like a lunatic and codishmumu keeps on making lots of self-moderated posts, presumably so she/he can delete any criticism of what they're spamming.

I wonder if they're not all the same people and the person behind it is trying to bump post counts for easy Bitcoin.

Not much I or any of the other non-admin staff can do really but lots of us have made suggestions on how to try deal with them. I think lots of bans need to be handed out and this should extend to the lazy campaign managers. The ability to blacklist certain signatures or remove them from shitposters might be a good idea too or just removing signatures all together for lower ranks similar in how only Full Members and above can have an avatar. Typical yobit spammer making his 20 posts a day. Something really needs to be done about that campaign (as well as secondstrade).

Surprisingly I just found out that Yobit campaign pays for posts in off topics no wonder why majority of his posts are associated there with little to no effort at all and still gets payment for those and as to the user itself, I do agree with Quickseller that actions should be taken towards this user as his posts (Most of them) are no contribution to the forums

They pay for much worse than what this guy is doing too. Make 20 one word posts in if topic or posting in daily giveaways and you'll still get paid the same and of course usually yobit members don't just have one account but several doing the same every day and the issue snowballs from there.

News from you (I meant all the bitcointalk staff)? Have you intention to do something or not?

Fixed the tag, thanks.

It is possible that he doesn't understand Bitcoin however the rest of his post history reflects that he has a tendency to make useless posts that do not contribute to the conversation. So one might say that it is safe to assume that my quoted post was just something that he outright made up in order to make a post in a thread he opened in his browser.

User Anmol_Verma is enrolled in a paid signature campaign and is making several low quality posts. A review of his post history reveals that he has made exactly 12 posts that are greater then one line and exactly 48 posts that are less then one line (if unnecessary line breaks are ignored), all of which were made in the last ~48 hours.

There are plenty of examples of insubstantial and idiotic posts in his post history, however the below quote stands out the most and is arguably the strongest reason why he needs a break.

When a new address is generated it checks that it has not been used earlier in bitcoin network.
the post you quoted might just be that the user is new and doesnt even know that much about bitcoin, hence he doesnt know the rules of the forum about spamming either. in addition, hes enrolled in yobit, who knew Roll Eyes

looking at his recent posts, they are spammy and short 5-word posts in the off topic board, but i dont know if its enough to warrant a ban as par the rules. i would like to see it happen though Grin

also, you typed a 'i' instead of a 'u' in the url tag, should fix that.

I dont unerstand the original post can anyone tell me what he means? I am too waiting for halving
"i dont know what the halvening is, but im waiting for it"

may be there isnt no one named satoshi and its just a rumour?
ok dude. time for a ban.

I dont know i think Bitcoin is already anonymous isn't it?
doesnt understand what the blockchain is
