Depends how you look at it. The administrative email is always up to date, since it's a mailbox we make accessible for the customer.
You might even say that it's more reliable than when someone registered with a gmail address or so.

Let me add this: We're more than open for suggestions to improve this! And hopefully even inspire others to bring back more privacy in the digital economy.

In this case I would recommend them NOT to advertise the fact that the domains are being managed by them (in the Whois).

Any company may report them to ICANN just to make sure the domain they want is deleted.

How do you handle the ICANN requirement to keep contact records (incl. email) updated, on file, even if they're not published (whois privacy used)?

Nope. Because email forwarding would require us to keep a record of that address. Sure you could use a self expiring or otherwise "un-personal" mailbox for it, but it's simply our philosophy that we don't want to know anything from you.

Like we're selling food in the street. Imagine you would have to identify yourself before you can buy a hot dog. You could lie, and give a fake name. But we don't want you to lie, we simply want you to be careful with your identity and enjoy privacy as long as you can. As long as you're not a suspect of a crime or so, every person on this planet is entitled to his or her privacy.

We want to contribute to make privacy normal again, even - or especially - on the interwebs!

We're not aiming at cheap, we want to have it good - if not best. For privacy.

Great service, really easy process. Had my domain registered within the minute and they only know the bitcoin address I was transferring from.
The admin section is very basic but I was able to set DNS settings and see all my registar e-mails.

How can I manage my domain?
Once logged in, you can: change name servers, change DNS records, lock or unlock the domain (for domain tranfers), get your Authcode (for domain transfers) and receive incoming email that's sent to the administrative contact.

The administrative contact email for your domain is formatted as yourdomain @ anonymousbitcoindomains.com. Mail sent to that address is readable when you log into your account.

How am I being notified if my domain expires?
You're not. We don't ask you for your contact details, so we can't contact you. It's extremely important you make a note in your calendar(s) to renew your domain in time (via the unique bitcoin address provided in your registration process). That means no later than one month before it expires. If you do nothing, it will automatically expire.

A few concerns I like to share with you

• Not for perverts and terrorists. Many people we tell about it automatically think this only serves pervorists. Fcuk yeah, that's what our governments wants you to think! They want you to link privacy to illegal shit! But it shouldn't be. We want to make it normal again to do buy things without losing your privacy. Especially online.
• What about the legal stuff? That's indeed a concern for us. We're nerds, not lawyers. So should we get a formal request from an authority to suspend a domain, we probably will. So if you want to use it for questionable activities: Don't! Use it for just any other domain you want, and use your right for privacy with respect for society and shit. We won't nark you (because we can't!), but you'll lose the BTC you've invested.
