How do I get this wallet to start synchronizing to the network? 
Just open the wallet and let it sync to the network until it's finished or you can download the bootstrap on the first page and only sync a little bit.

So reading this broken blockchain thing.. not sure why anyone is trying to get this coin on other exchanges if the current ones barely work. I'd like to invest more but current issues need to be worked out.
The best place to buy 1337 coins at the moment would have to be Cryptopia as the wallet on there seems to be working. Not sure about getting your coins off Yobit as that wallet has been stuck for a long while now and the support don't seem to want to fix the issue even when Velvet has sent them a message to update to the latest wallet but still they don't listen, but that's what we can expect from Yobit as they always do this to many other coins.

I see there some people have trouble with withdrawing 1337 from C-Cex. also, there is a problem with Cryptopia.

Hi all, i have missed this thread a long time and forget that i have some coins on c-cex but than i logged in and i see that the wallet is broken, but than i look at my wallet in the block explorer i see that coins are there.
Is there any chance to get that coins?

Our ticker needs to be changed from 1337 so that it is eligible to be listed on Bittrex/Poloniex, which don't allow numbers in it. Perhaps change it to ELITE or LEET?
Bittrex adoption is the next big step for this coin.
*Edit - actually it appears Bittrex is listing 2GIVE, 8BIT, and 1ST, even though their submission form says no numbers. Velvet have you had any communication with them whether they would potentially accept it once market cap, etc is adequate?

To the 1337 community! I have found a wallet service just like POSWallet called WebWallets which is run by the MUE coin dev team and I was thinking that we could try and get 1337 coin listed on there. I've already sent in a request to get 1337 coin listed and if more people request 1337 coin maybe they will add it soon.

Wow, what did I read about this? Getting 1337 coins by playing Minecraft coming soon?!! That's like a HUGE market and that will definitely make this 1337 go crazy high! Haha, now available @ 5 sat...Minecraft has been bought more then 100 million times (!!!) according to an article in June, 2016! Even if only half of them are playing actively, thats more then 50 million people playing Minecraft. If you reach those people, there is almost no other gaming community that you can reach like Minecraft. That is just mindblowing!
Other thing I've read was that you can buy games on Steam with 1337 coins. So basically: play Minecraft on 1337 servers (or something, dont know how that works), get 1337 coins for doing it, spend 1337 coins on Steam to buy more/other games or DLC's or what not. Or get it on exchanges and start trading. Really mindblowing concept. How is this 5 sat with this info out?
Btw, I've read these things on their slack. Saw the community grow with 10 members in that half hour that I was there. Good info, advise people to join it for this kind of info. I was really FUD'ing with my investment but this is great.
