@aceminer Hello, I have two rigs with Windows 10. For one rig everything is working fine (8 x RX 570 8GB). The other one I have mixed RX 570 8GB and 4GB, when the miners starts I get this error:
Listen errorUnable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

Worth noticing that also also detection is not working, while on the other rig with same AMD driver cards are auto detected.

I have the same error in GGM...maybe you can contribute to the code by fixing it...  Wink

Someone tried this miner at work?
Yes, it is the fastest, I tested some cards:
vega 56 - up to 3.0
rx 580 - up to 1.95
r9 390 - up to 2.53 (!)

Consumes more power...

can i use in hiveos?

There isn't any hashrate advantage/improvement over ggm (maybe real hashrate is even bit worse/lower), however they made console output of the original in "pro" version working and i'm to lazy to mess with the code, so that is at least something. Maybe they just compile latest ggm and latest has working rolling mode, don't know, to lazy to compile and try it. Also for some weird reason cpu usage is higher.
Power consumption of grinpro is about 100w higher for me.

Indeed it's the highest, sparkpool:

4x1080ti+4xVega64, both running AceMiner.

Interesting question on the other hand, as it is also my impression that miner fees are more than claimed.
I wonder how often and for how long, makes up for the 1% stated.

I doubt it's the fastest miner with claimed change of 2% down to 1% fee only. You could reach Your second number (24h) only with 4x1080ti if really fastest Grin miner used.

Hello,
are you going to MINER SW as well as monitoring? Or some reset when the graphics card stops working?

This might be because of the old drivers or you might need to disable the on-chip GPU.

If the cards are not being detected try adding them manually.

Here is an example of config.xml with radeons. Just try to edit it manually.

Here is the example of a config for a radeon card. just create config.xml in notepad and clone the GPU options part 6 times

The settings should be core +100 memory +300 (or +0) PL 80-90%. but even stock should be closer to 4 gps

1)Check the cpu load. Celeron can handle 2-3 1080ti max without throttling. Try disabling all but one GPUs in config.xml

      GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
      NVIDIA
      1
      0
      true

true->false or delete the whole block

2)Use command cdm -> "C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\NVSMI\nvidia-smi" dmon -s et -d 10 -o DT
under load to see if you get any pcie errors, this might be a riser issue
3)If this is a win7 machine you might want to try win10. Win7 will work but we didn't test performance.

I'm keeping this thread up and visible so everyone can see you and your insides in all your glory, and to know how to spot a thief and a sc[au]m in the future.

Nobody cares what you want to call it.

Ok, keep up the good work!

This is not a scam though. Our users get more grin compared to Grin Gold Miner that we forked away from. And we have a dedicated discord support group, that works very well now.

You on the other hand are a whole different species.

Don't try to turn this discussion into something else.

Once again, for others who will check your thread:

- you took someone else's hard work
- you passed it as your own
- you misled
- you lied
- you were discovered
- you then pretend you're nice

You are a thief. A fraud. And also pathetic for trying to change the subject.

Dark sh#t to you, maybe, and yet true nevertheless.

They also lie about speed improvement, their binary blob of the solver has same sha256 hash as the GGM original they took it from.

I have checked hashes of Aceminer 1.1 and GrinGoldMiner RC4 & RC3

Ace
CudaSolver.dll    SHA-1 A7F056318A228DD71990065B8DE3940DB225F2B1
CudaSolver.exe  SHA-1 FEC6267E23FCC1E82441AD4EB54A35757EFCBE5A
OclSolver.dll      SHA-1 469020E11153EBCF0D84BF7F94E6547B5EE264C8
OclSolver.exe    SHA-1 E25A9F84D222CC975EBBB5C431CF61A7DCF9D07C

GrinGold RC4&RC3
CudaSolver.dll    SHA-1 AE3A2F5246C40DB5F824985FE2752E415F9322CC
CudaSolver.exe  SHA-1 D0D1BF4D98D9819BA68896FD4EFF19A948091B8D
OclSolver.dll      SHA-1 7D9E2C2B88828B7ED96B78BDB5D10C9462A8E32A
OclSolver.exe    SHA-1 0C4EFC58850D04D87F4CB310CCACB38DE5EFFE9F

I don't think they are the same.

The guys always said (in discord chats) that their miner is the fork of GGM and grinminer with some improvements.
This is the idea of open source: anyone can take the code and improve upon it.

Urza, you're shilling your own miner which shows lower hashrates and where you want 2% share. I didn't understand, why it is better than Ace miner?

Ace Grin Miner v 1.1

We are developing a fast multi-gpu windows miner for cuckaroo29 mining algorithm which is used in Grin - a new community-driven implementation of Mimblewimble. Our miner provides speed advantage over competition and comes with a dedicated Discord https://discord.gg/G6T5vFk support channel

Well the real developer of GGM Photon actually couldn't find any malicious code:
"I’ll give you cedit that you actually take only 1% dev fee total and do not steal passwords, however the solvers you are using are published under https://github.com/tromp/cuckoo/blob/master/LICENSE.txt 4 so you might want to change that second protonmail account back to [email protected]"

But yeah it's always better to compile from the source (you  can take their 2% fee out if you know how to edit code)

This is just 1:1 copy paste of original GrinGoldMiner and the only change is that they changed the name (even that they screwed up, still reports as GGM in pools) and they take the fee for themselves. With that they are in violation of the fair mining licence.

They also lie about speed improvement, their binary blob of the solver has same sha256 hash as the GGM original they took it from.
They are just scammers. Be careful, they may also add some "bonus", would not surprise me.

Just use the original GrinGoldMiner (find it in GitHub), don’t fall for these cheap clones.

One of the reasons we decided to release this version is because the 2% fee is too much for an open source project and not everyone can compile.

As for the bonus part our new slogan is: Aceminer... Doesn't give you any bonuses! :-)))

use at your own risk guys!

This version is good though, I use it on all of my personal rigs.

Ace

      Ace Grin Miner v 1.3

We are developing a fast multi-gpu windows miner for cuckaroo29 mining algorithm which is used in Grin - a new community-driven implementation of Mimblewimble. Our miner provides speed advantage over competition and comes with a dedicated Discord https://discord.gg/G6T5vFk support channel

Note: we are a code fork of Grin Gold Miner with number of changes and reduced dev fee. You can find the original miner code at github.

      New in v 1.3:

      • 4-8% speed increase on Nvidia GPUs with fast CPUs
      • Support for 6GB Nvidia GPUs (will work on Win7, Win10 reserves too much memory)
      • Bug fixes

      Nvidia 6GB mining cards notes:

      • 1060 6Gb you have to migrate to windows 7
      • P106 works on windows 10 no need to migrate
      • Make sure you have the following security update on windows 7 the miner will not start without it
      https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2533623/microsoft-security-advisory-insecure-library-loading-could-allow-remot

      Features:

      • Supports Nvidia/AMD GPUs with a min of 7gb VRAM
      • Simple configuration/auto-detection of GPUs and CPU settings
      • 4-6% speed improvement over grin gold miner
      • Ongoing development and dedicated Discord support channel
      • Moderate 1% dev fee to fund future development
      • Linux and Mac versions under development
      • Expected speeds for typical GPUs: 1080TI - 4.6 gps, 1080 3.6 gps, 1070ti 3.2 gps

      Quick Launch Guide:

      • Optional: switch your Nvidia GPUs to "P0 power state" as it seems to increase performance. See tutorial at the bottom
      • Update drivers: Nvidia just use the latest, AMD we recommend 18.6.1 adrenaline drivers
      • Set virtual memory to 40-56GB (about 7gb per GPU)
      • Optional: Input failover pool details manually into the created config.xml under similar to
      • Run start.bat to begin mining
