The fact is that AI IS in it's early stages of development and can go any-which-way.
Yes, huge companies are putting "a lot of knowledge and resources" into the research and development of artificial intelligence. As are the all of the big banks putting "a lot of knowledge and resources" into combating digital cryptocurrencies.
Does this mean we should all say "f*** starting a cryptocurrency, let's leave the finance industry to Well Fargo since they have a lot of knowledge and resources"? Mine as well leave artificial intelligence to the big guys too, nothing we can do there...
This project is not "a better idea than Samsung", or "competing AI with Google" - it is, however, unique and has infinite potential.

I justed opened the newest Windows binary release and it appears to be opening v0.122 even though our Dev labeled it as v0.124. I don't know if this is an error caused somehow from running it on Linux with Wine after having built the newest version from source. Or if our dev accidentally uploaded the Windows binaries from v0.122 in the v0.124 Windows release

This is interesting, do you have any more details in regards to what sort of things are capable with an AI powered dapp vs a regular dapp?
I see that the network is frozen so i'll keep an eye on it until it's up and running again, but i am curious about what you've got going on with this project. Like the cpu mining as well.

As our network grows, we expect the collective intelligence of our AI to grow smarter and more advanced. Of course as it's in its early stages of growth, we can mostly except it to only solve simple problems, like "A, B, C, or D", or "How much, when, or who" decisions.
For one example - we have an example program of a Quiz in which the AI application judges text answers and rewards the different participants a different amount of tokens depending on quality/validity of the answers. It does this by taking the text answers and splitting them apart into machine-understandable statements. It then judges the quality/validity of these statements against huge amounts of data that the AiBlocks network is plugged into.
As the AiBlocks network grows, the amount of accessible data will increase, as well as the quality of the data, and the practical application of the data.
Some other examples of merits we have already achieved with AiBlocks include Self-moderating forums, intuitive web security programs, data management, and many other simple to moderately simple tasks that currently take so many companies many soon-to-be unnecessary work hours.
As AiBlocks network becomes more advanced, so will the capabilities of the type of problems it will be able to solve.

Founds at risk? It's more than 36 hours that I'm try to synchronize and steady late of 700 block since 24h, how could we mine? stop the chain if is flooded, mean that something is really wrong. I really thought good about this project but now it really seem just a joke but I don't want to be negative....just..... don't know. Still keep an eye on this for the next 24h, will see
Simply this project is still very raw and unfinished. Artificial intelligence fails))

Version 0.124a is now out
*Updates:
The AiBlocks network was being attacked by a flood attack that caused issues connecting and synchronizing.
Basically, the attacker was submitting huge mined blocks (100MB+) with header info that tricked the network into thinking the blocks were only 500KB (The maximum acceptable block size), and therefore accepted these huge blocks, and tried to add them to the blockchain. Initially, this stopped anyone from connecting do to it creating an invalid chain. We then modified the protocol in version 0.121b to deny such block for being added to the chain, temporarily stopping the attacker.
Then the attacker slightly changed up his method so the headers of his new huge blocks would still be accepted as valid, but our fail-safe stopped them from being added to the chain. This caused a huge slowdown in synchronizing and basically blocked every new user from synchronizing.
We have finally now in version 0.124a, created new fail-safes that block any type of block manipulation (or so we believe) and the network is running back at perfect efficiency.
If we encounter any problems like this in the future, we will continue to work hard stabilizing the network to prevent these possible future problems. We thank you all for you patience, and hope you enjoy a now-working AiBlocks Wallet.

Amazing, it keeps "syncing" and adding blocks even without a internet connection. Jesus christ, don't download this shit.
That's because of two reasons, 1. It's still processing blocks it already downloaded, and 2. When synchronizing for the first time, it shows the "amount of blocks left to sync" as an estimate calculated from 10 second blocks (which is why the "amount left" goes up one block every 10 seconds) This is a bug in the program we need to fix: If you disconnect your internet after blocks were previously downloaded, it doesn't throw up an error when you disconnect your internet and continue to try to synchronize.
As for the reason it isn't able to catch up for most of you, I'm told that the network is under some type of flood attack and no one will be able to synchronize until we find a way to block the attack. We thought we patched this in the previous version, but whoever is flooding the network found another way to do it.
Your funds are not at risk, but we highly recommend not broadcasting any transactions (sending any funds/tokens) until we fix this as the transactions will most likely get stuck unconfirmed and flood the mempool even further.
We're working on this full-time now and will post an update when we have more news. Thanks everyone for your patience.

I'm always 800 blocks behind. Don't seem to be able to catch up since the blocks increase in such a rapid pace.
I think i'll just give up now, this is clearly not viable.

I've started synchronizing around block 12000, now we are over block 22000 and I'm still unable to catch up with the blockchain, I'm missing 700 blocks and it's not improving since yesterday, the chain grow faster than the speed my wallet is updating, what can I do?

Wallet synced up nicely, looking forward to this project.
There could have been a little more information at the website, but i believe it will come in the future.
And i loved that the airdrop included questions for being a participant, hopefully this helps with filtering out bots and people that try to send multiple times...

Yes, I have the same problem atm I think. Until around block 11k it went really fast, but now its really slow. Not sure if its faster than the new generation of blocks, but I'll wait a bit and see if it finishes

Check out what you are talking about before you post accusations like this... It creates a registry key named "AiBlocksUpdate" that checks for updates when the computer starts. And it only creates this registry key if you tell it to when you first run the program (By clicking "Check for updates" then clicking "Next").
In other news, the network is finally back up as of July 23 05:00 UTC, and the newest version (AiBlocks v0.122) has been released.

Hi, it his working? Have resolved the problems you encountered? Is the new wallet out? I know it sound very annoying but if you state a date an actually an hour you should respect it if you want to grow interest aand community.
If for some reason you see that you can not respect what you said, simply make a new statement... not very difficult and community would be happier and for sure understand that not always (quite never) it goes as planned. But some more communications are a must if you want to make your project interest more people.
Very annoying to setup your alarm in the middle of the night to wake up in time and discover that.....simply nothing.....

The option to load your previous wallet before synchronization is complete is also being added in v0.122. Any estimated date when it will work again? Do we have pools & link to miner ?
Currently the only way to mine is though our built-in CPU miner, which only has the "solo-mine" option at the moment. We will have mining pools released in the near future.Any update?

Oh yes, we are working on our nodes at the moment. I am told that the problem is also with the wallet client. As soon as we have both working, we will post an update.
Also, don't worry about us "mining while no one else can", as mining isn't working either - the network has been stuck on block 11635 for about 24 hours now.

As our network grows, we expect the collective intelligence of our AI to grow smarter and more advanced. Of course as it's in its early stages of growth, we can mostly except it to only solve simple problems, like "A, B, C, or D", or "How much, when, or who" decisions.
For one example - we have an example program of a Quiz in which the AI application judges text answers and rewards the different participants a different amount of tokens depending on quality/validity of the answers. It does this by taking the text answers and splitting them apart into machine-understandable statements. It then judges the quality/validity of these statements against huge amounts of data that the AiBlocks network is plugged into.
As the AiBlocks network grows, the amount of accessible data will increase, as well as the quality of the data, and the practical application of the data.
Some other examples of merits we have already achieved with AiBlocks include Self-moderating forums, intuitive web security programs, data management, and many other simple to moderately simple tasks that currently take so many companies many soon-to-be unnecessary work hours.
As AiBlocks network becomes more advanced, so will the capabilities of the type of problems it will be able to solve.

Similar, sync stops at 16 and it didn't work adding conf file. In addition, this is some issue for wallet. I have to generate new wallet everytime i open it, there is no place to open an old wallet.

Is the chain really already at block 11635 or is that a visual bug because its not syncing? Because i thought there is no premine etc
I believe that's the correct amount of blocks right before the seed nodes stopped functioning properly (since that number is not changing anymore). The block time is 10 Seconds/Block, so that would be just over 32 hours since mainnet launch.

I'm also having trouble synchronizing now myself. As soon as our main developer wakes up, I'm sure he'll be able to fix this rather shortly. I personally don't have the skill to make any changes without risking screwing things up.

What should be the conf file named and where should it be saved? Can i just add the seed nodes as a text there, no commands? Greetings
You set the file with the -config-file parameter. eg:

Or you should be able to just put "aiblocks.conf" into the working directory, but I'm not 100% sure that that has been enabled yet.
And you add the following line to your .conf file:

The Ethash Rotating Hybrid algorithm is dependent on the eth platform, right?
I know Ethash but never heard of the name Rotating Hybrid.
But there is one point I think it would have is ASIC Resistance, more friendly to CPU and GPU, right?
Yes, the ASIC Resistance is like many other ASIC Resistant algorithms, but the way the Algorithm is makes GPU mining give little to no advantage. We call it Ethash Rotating Hybrid because it's an Ethash Hybrid and the algorithm rotates in a way that makes It almost completely biased to CPU mining. GPU mining may be able to get a small increase in hashrate if someone can create a really well designed mining program. Otherwise, Non-ASIC CPU mining is the way to go.I know Ethash but never heard of the name Rotating Hybrid.

Hi, I've downloaded the wallet from your website, it start, it ask me to generate the account, etc but then he is unable to synchronize, it is stuck at block 16 for more then 2 hours....
We have had similar reports of users being unable to synchronize and we're not quite sure what is causing it. We believe it to be the seed nodes that connect you to the rest of the network. As the program uses embedded default configuration info and a .conf file is optional, you can try creating the respective .conf file, put it into the data directory you chose, and add the default seed nodes to the file.The default seed nodes are as follows:

I will try to make a tutorial for this soon, but for now if you still can't get it working, your best bet is to wait until the next release, which should be in the next day or so.

Version 0.124a is now out
*Updates:
The AiBlocks network was being attacked by a flood attack that caused issues connecting and synchronizing.
Basically, the attacker was submitting huge mined blocks (100MB+) with header info that tricked the network into thinking the blocks were only 500KB (The maximum acceptable block size), and therefore accepted these huge blocks, and tried to add them to the blockchain. Initially, this stopped anyone from connecting do to it creating an invalid chain. We then modified the protocol in version 0.121b to deny such block for being added to the chain, temporarily stopping the attacker.
Then the attacker slightly changed up his method so the headers of his new huge blocks would still be accepted as valid, but our fail-safe stopped them from being added to the chain. This caused a huge slowdown in synchronizing and basically blocked every new user from synchronizing.
We have finally now in version 0.124a, created new fail-safes that block any type of block manipulation (or so we believe) and the network is running back at perfect efficiency.
If we encounter any problems like this in the future, we will continue to work hard stabilizing the network to prevent these possible future problems. We thank you all for you patience, and hope you enjoy a now-working AiBlocks Wallet.

Other Features
AiBlocks is new and has yet to develop into the huge AI network that we believe it to be in the future. Among the features already described, AiBlocks has some other features that allow for more specific and advanced application development.
*ASIC resistant, CPU based mining algorithm
Most ASIC resistant algorithms are achieved by requiring a lot of memory, which when implemented on an ASIC, translates to needing lots of physical area on the chip. AiBlocks uses a PoW algorithm that uses little memory, and has zero GPU advantage. This is achieved by using a smart blocks algorithm. Each block mined requires a different type of PoW work (An Ethash Hybrid) to be completed by the CPU, mixing it up unpredictably and effectively stopping ASICs and GPU mining. The block time target is 10 seconds with a reward system similar to Ethereum's.
*Complete privacy when moving funds
With the optional use of Zero-knowledge Proof transactions (for sending/receiving transactions only), you can move tokens around with complete privacy. Originally implemented in Zcash, zk-SNARKs technology can be used when sending/receiving AiBlocks (AIBX) as well as sending/receiving any token on the AiBlocks Network (if correctly implemented - see the examples/tutorials in the Developer Center).
*Instant Transactions
Transactions can be programmed to work like NANO, allowing for instant transactions of AIBX or AiBlocks tokens. If AiBlocks wallet is set to Instant Transaction mode (or a token is created with Instant Transactions enabled), the AiBlocks wallet will pre-cache the anti-spam Proof of Work for the next transaction once a transaction is sent, making transactions instantaneous.
*Fair start - No ICO or premine
AiBlocks started without any ICO or pre-mine or croud source, which says a lot about the network's strength and longevity. There is an airdrop period so that AIBX tokens are distributed to a wide variety of users, however all of the tokens given away are fairly mined using paid cloud mining resources.
*Upcoming: Complete Compatibility
In the near future, AiBlocks will be used on any system, including macOS, Linux, Windows, iOS, and Android. Create ĐApps on your mobile device and use them with your work's PC network - or vise verse. Complete compatibility is something we hope to achieve by the beginning of 2019.

More About AiBlocks AI
As our network grows, we expect the collective intelligence of our AI to grow smarter and more advanced. Of course as it's in its early stages of growth, we can mostly except it to only solve simple problems, like "A, B, C, or D", or "How much, when, or who" decisions.
For one example - we have an example program you can download in the Developer Center of a Quiz in which the AI application judges text answers and rewards the different participants a different amount of tokens depending on quality/validity of the answers. It does this by taking the text answers and splitting them apart into machine-understandable statements. It then judges the quality/validity of these statements against huge amounts of data that the AiBlocks network is plugged into.
As the AiBlocks network grows, the amount of accessible data will increase, as well as the quality of the data, and the practical application of the data.
Some other examples of merits we have already achieved with AiBlocks include Self-moderating forums, intuitive web security programs, data management, and many other simple to moderately simple tasks that currently take so many companies many soon-to-be unnecessary work hours.
As AiBlocks network becomes more advanced, so will the capabilities of the type of problems it will be able to solve.
