There isn't going to be any work on this project. It was a token created with no dev team and no plans. The creator probably wanted to see how many people, if any, would send them ETH for a token they created out of thin air. The website shows four "benefits":

Smart Contract - so you're telling me it's a token
Good Gift - not a benefit; nothing different than any other token
Big Plans - "GiftToken has no whitepaper. Screw the plans and deadlines. We'll do it quickly." Communicates clearly that there is no dev team and no plans.

And I've seen the exchange on etherdelta, the price's really low (1,000,000 GIFT Token 2 = 0.001 ETH) *why it's GIFT Token 2 instead of GFT? Huh
