I can't seem to find social media outlets for this project.

Anyone knows where I can get them?

Thank you
I found some social media link on their homepage. You have to visit on their homepage. You will get social media link for twitter, telegram and weibo. Please check their website link: http://alephium.org/

Nice to see that one more project are on working on this concept. 10000 transactions per second with low transactions fees are really awesome.

First time I hear about Alephium, too. Does this mean they will have some sort of ICO or IEO or whatever? Or what are their further plans? When will their testnet be released?

I hope they hold their IEO on binance, huobi, BitMax or some other top exchanges. These exchanges have built a transparent reputation. And most people would buy and hodl their tokens, because they believe in it.

this is the first time I read about Bitmax as a top exchange:-) I'm also a fan of this exchange, but on the Top Exchanges something is still missing.
But the last IEOs on Bitmax were already very successful. I can imagine something similar for Alephium

Another project making the blockchain scalability problem their major focus. Lots of promises, technology and plans are being put in place just like the previous projects did. What exactly is making this stand out? Why do we think this can succeed where others failed?

They have a pretty good chance, they are focusing on only one area of sharding which is cross-sharding. Somethings sit right with me on this project. The fact that they are focused in one direction of scalability gives a lot of confidence,

yeah, i am also thinking in this same line i would really like to know what will make this project stand out and how they intend solving the scalability issues

I don't know how much money it will cost to hold IEO at those top exchange. But I don't think they will be targeting those big exchanges. Unless it's not costing huge money.

Did not hear any specific information about their token sales. However there might be some in the near future. Thats why they are introducing the project now.

So even before token sale, they already working on developing a Blockchain? Nice approach, this will give good confidence to people who looking to invest in this project.

This approach of building the foundation of the project before tokensale should be emulated. Its gives investors a higher conviction about the project and the teams ability to deliver the concept of the project.

It would be great to keep an eye for every project having their ICO/IEO now. I think it’s the season when we see tokens pumping just after it’s token sales.
Alephium would need more than just a whitepapet to convince investors to invest more crypto.

Alephium is backed by a very strong team. One that I know to be very reputable. It won't come as a surprise to hear that they already raised $1m in private sales. I know this guys lol

Holding IEO on exchanges is the smartest idea I have seen lately. It is amazing taking advantage of the popularity and database of these exchanges to hold IEOs. Binance has really taken it to the next level as they have already recorded amazing successes.

seems too early to really say much
big letters "open source" on the site, but the github is empty except for the whitepaper. the WP was put there on "mar 5th" it says, wonder what they have been doing last few months since? hmmm
could be one to watch, could be junk, time will tell!
thx for the heads up tho

Yeah, so far there aren't really that many information released by them so far. I mean, we still don't know if they will have a token sale. But just from a first glance it definitely looks worth to keep an eye at and see what news we'll get from them.

I think Team is still working on adding content to the site.  Project is still in its early stage. Let's wait for sometime and we will get more information.

Any idea that will make our beloved blockchain even more efficient is very much welcomed. Truly many projects have come up with this concept but it is left to see who will do it better.

Although I really can't speak much about the father of blockchain which is bitcoin efficiency and how that project like Alphaeum is looking at bringing the much needed solutions.

There is a possibility that this type of project may topple bitcoin in the long run

One of the most pressing issues in the blockchain industry is scalability. Alephium was able to design an algorithm, called BlockFlow, which combines sharding technology with DAG [Directed Acyclic Graph] and utilizes a scalable UTXO [Unspent Transaction Output] model to resolve the inefficiency of sharding performance during cross-shard transactions. This feat is revolutionary as its the first algorithm with this attribute and would be instrumental to the success of the project.

This looks like an amazing project. They seeem to be interested in bring a solution to blockchain scalability issues. And that’s great. Count me in when you have your crowdfunding.

Just brought it to my attention. I ser what they are trying to do. Blockchain scalability is a big topic and achieving this will be a great milestone to them. I want to see how this ends.

Scalability will aid mass adoption of blockchain based technology such as cryptocurrency. I believe they are on the right track

Check their reddit channel as well. They achieved 10000+ TPS during the alpha testing. They will continue improving the same.

Read through the article about the project and I think it's not exactly a new concept when they use Dag to improve scalability. Known project like Zilliqa and Iota are using same tools to help them scale.

My concern however is in the area of consensus. Advance blockchain uses an hybrid system or shift to PoS. Why still use PoW when it's looking like an obsolete consensus mechanism

I guess there would be more information about the team, project and how they plan to get crowdfunding. I always had an eye for blockchain projects, and this one seems to be interesting with a focus on scalability. Never heard about them, so I’m going to step aside a do some research.

I do tried to find project team info.  But it's not mentioned at the site.  May be they still updating their site with all these information.

No, I hadn't heard of it before. Do I see that correctly, this is a Swiss project?
I just flew over the whitepaper at the moment, it looks very technical. But I like the approach.
Isn't there any information about a token sale yet?

Anybody know this project? They are clearly talking about pushing the boundary of scalability and blockchain performance.
