Guys, I finally received the thing!! Will try to get everything setup quite soon, but now only opened and setting it in my room. It has a lot of PCI-express connectors and looks I will need two powerful psu I do not have yet. Actually I did not hope it would arrive!! Will update as I start it later.

congrats you were very lucky Smiley
is it hashing as advertised ?
what kind of psu are you using ?

From the website:

"With less than 0.7W/TH/s Atlas Bitcoin Miner is one of the most efficient and advanced professional Bitcoin miners available in 2014."

"Power Consumption   2000 Watts"

Where is the 0.7W/TH/s ?

That is the only thing that can justify the price. And you still need to buy 2x PSUs.

We are glad to hear from everyone. First, sorry for taking long to get back with the video of the lottery, you can watch it here. Regarding Holm, we don't know whether the person is n00b or not, we just chose a random guy through the giveaway. Neither did we check his experience with computer hardware etc.

Please disregard payment via credit cards at the moment, everything went smooth with PayPal right before we got few orders in one day, now taking time to resolve the issue and we won't be accepting CC in the near future. We encourage you to use Wire Transfer payment method instead.

The idea of giving away a miner to respectful community members is one we are eager to go for. Please let us discuss this with management team and we'll get back to you, as we still have some "zero" batch units in stock.

You still haven't posted anything of value to prove your legitimacy.

Send dogie, ckolivas, myself or any other legit member a test unit or two on this forum so a full breakdown/review can be done so we know you are not just another scam company please. Thanks.

Take a look at Holm's posting history - its a newbie account with 20 or so 5 word posts, 40 of which in the last 2 weeks. https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/holm-221853

We'd like to confirm that we successfully received Holm's address and his miner will be dispatched shortly. We can't force anybody to confirm they had a smooth transaction, but we had few people using coupons that's been posted exclusively on BitcoinTalk.

OK, guys, thanks for being patient and humorous, it's always nice to have some feedback  Smiley

We are sorry for taking time to get back to y'all. Let us start with some good news - we have a lottery winner, his/her name is Holm, we kindly ask Holm to send us postal address in PM in order to receive ATLAS A3 miner!!! Video proof will be uploaded and posted shortly.

Let's now get back to hardware discussion:

Housing
We ARE actually using a 4U rack as our miner's case. It's similar world around, as stated earlier in the topic. For now it's most convenient, quite nonexpensive and widely available way to room any hardware. Hope this covers the question.

Wires
Yes, they look like noodles with a 0.15 cm copper wire each, capable of transmitting quite a few Amps with a 12V voltage. You don't want your expensive hardware, such as Bitcoin miner burn in a second. Increasing cost by just a few bucks this eliminates quite some hassle. This is the principle we tend to apply to any product we design.

Chip and our partners
We have few exclusive partners in Taiwan, all of them are quite known and recognized. Please contact TSMC and you can get all the relevant information if they decide to disclose it.

Proofs of live hash etc...
ATM our miners are hashing in tech workshop, connected and setup. We will surely take one of the ATLASes to the office and upload the hashing video.

All the users who took part in our lottery get exclusive 30% discount off original price. Please write us e-mail before you pay via BTC or Wire Transfer. Thank you for taking your time to participate Wink

We are happy to have a few customers from BitcoinTalk, we would like to thank you for your attention, comments and information requests. We are only sorry we won't be able to deliver miners to such customer addresses:

Muppets Inc
Kermit FROG
123 Muppet Lane
BEVERLY HILLS
NEW TERRITORIES

We don't disclose the user's e-mail address as a part of our privacy policy but rather ask Mr FROG to send us the missing ZIP Code  Grin  His Atlas A3 Miner will be shipped after his/her payment successfully goes through.

Finishing the overtime, leaving the office till tomorrow.

this is a new level.. box w fans and psu inside (check the cable endings) Smiley

These generate power while running, the aux power out cables are for your KNC Jupiter, for example.

No no no, the cables connect on to the next unit you buy off these dodos so basicly the first one powers all others you buy!

I've never heard of an ATLAS A3 ASIC, and no details are given.

A noob forum member with a 1 post history... and that 1 post is selling an ASIC pre-order.

Smells like a scam.

Almost a Cointerra knockoff minus the spaghetti wires:

They gave it a shot, what can you say.
The only thing similar is its a 4U rackmounted case with 2x120mm intakes. After that it looks significantly different, and seems too much effort to have photoshopped using the CT as a base.

I think i speak for everyone that the following would be in order, especially as you claim the hardware already exists and is hashing:

-video of miner hashing on an eligius address
-a link to an eligius address with a miner running for stability etc. evaluation
-a review unit for a reputable forum member (this doesn´t have to be free, but at least with escrow)
-finally some pictures of the internals etc. would be nice.

As the cost /GH is merely at par with current offers, i dont think you will get many customers if your legitimacy isn´t proven.

all of the above and foremost a unit reviewed by reputable member goes a long way for confidence.

What chips are you using? Ok you named them A3, but who made them? Got more details about them?

The case looks more or less like the Cointerra one and also the chips seem to be on specs with theirs. Price seems to be close to their price too except that you added your margin to it. Since you admit that you were mining with this units for over than 1 month why not post some tangible proofs?
