we are updating our API to make some changes to the Authentication mechanism and adding other new features.  Once this is done, we will go through and update all of the shopping cart plugins that use the API, plus launch some new ones.

I will also get the new version added to Magento connect, that looks simple enough.

We have about 1000 things on our to-do list and there's only so many hours in the day.  but we prioritize stuff the best we can and get through it.  Thanks for the feedback.

I am interested in using this for my Magento stores. However, I reviewed the source code and the features are incomplete. There is no currency listing for bitcoin (imporant) and there is no refund capability (less important). When will the extension be updated with much needed features?

3. Auto-forward the bitcoins to the merchant, or sell them and transfer US Dollars by ACH

What is ACH?
Is there a requirement to run bitcoind on the server with Zen-Cart for the Bit-Pay module to function?

ACH is an electronic funds transfer used in the US, where we can direct deposit funds into your bank account.

There is no need for the Zen Cart user to install any bitcoin software at all.  Our plugin is another payment gateway that you can install, configure, and start using, without knowing anything about bitcoins.

Nice to see these public now!

If anyone needs help integrating one of these in their website, PM me.  I'm currently using the PHP library at my website and have tested out the rest so I'm familiar with the API and can get you set up in a matter of hours.

Democracy is the original 51% attack
Awesome!  Be sure to mention these specific plugins if you can on the bitcoin wiki (people might search for zen or magento and they need to see your name).

Bit-Pay enhances our integration options by adding Bitcoin payment plugins for Zen Cart and Magento shopping cart platforms. We also offer a generic PHP library for developers who make their own shopping carts in PHP.

The Bit-Pay payment plugins give merchants an easy way to accept bitcoin payments on their website. The plugins can:

1. Create an invoice based on an order total in USD or BTC
2. Create a unique payment address for each sale
3. Auto-forward the bitcoins to the merchant, or sell them and transfer US Dollars by ACH
4. Track your sales summary and trends

If you are using Zen Cart, Magento, or your own cart in PHP, and you would like to accept bitcoins, apply for a merchant account with Bit-pay to get started.

With this additional support, Bit-Pay expands the options our merchants have for integration to the following: JSON API, command line, JavaScript, PHP, opencart, ZenCart, and Magento.

The plugins can be downloaded from our website here: https://bit-pay.com/cartPlugins.html
