I'm going to start coding support for the Bit-Pay API into Coin Cart tonight!

Great!  let us know if you have any questions.

Houston, we have a problem! I just tried signing up an account over at Bit-Pay. I can't get pass page 3 on the 4 page sign-up process. Reason: The IRS tax number is needed. Serious? Please PM me. Thank you, in advance.

We need that before we can process USD ACH payouts...it's not needed if you're taking bitcoin payouts (I supposed we could make that clearer in application process).

Bit-pay has expanded our software offering with a fully functional API, which gives merchants a server-to-server interface to accept bitcoins easily and securely.

The bit-pay payment API is designed for merchants that need full control over their customers’ shopping and checkout experience.  Bit-pay’s API offers all of the same checkout and invoice features that are available through our checkout buttons and browser posts.

With the API, merchants can:
- Create an Invoice
- Fetch an Invoice
- Receive Invoice status updates

The API is based on JSON and includes command line utilities that provide an easy-to-use client interface.

Developers that are interested in writing wrappers or libraries around our API for PHP, opencart, zencart, eShop, osCommerce, or any other popular shopping cart tools, should contact us.  We would like to offer these libraries to any merchant that would like to use them.

Full documentation on the bit-pay payment API can be found at this link:  https://bit-pay.com/downloads/bitpayApi-0.1.pdf
