Well done, i like the graphs ;-) Didn't know there is already a js framework for that. Thumbs up for leading me there - exactly what i need for one of my projects.

BTT: i checked the historic view, but the maximum seems to 1 day backwards.
Have you planned a longer historic view?

Sorry for the late reply. Totally overlooked that post.
Currently there is not so much past data available and therefore cannot show past a couple of days.

Nevertheless, I have implemented the weekly view (7 day history).
Once there is data for about 30 days available, I will activate the month view.

Your site is down for me.

Edit: You site (ip) is getting blocked by malwarebyets anti malware.

Ecatel is known for hosting malware botnet, booters, spam etc.

If you want to grow your site, use some white label hosting.

Is it locally blocked on your computer or remotely by e.g. your isp?

www.malwarebytes.org Antivirus is blocking it.
It means all the peoples that are using MBAM could not be able to visit your website untill they turn off
website blocking option.

You can contact them here http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showforum=42
To get your website's ip unblocked.

Thanks a lot for that info. I have made a forum post asking to get me off the index.
Once I get a reply I will let you know.

Update #1: 2013-05-10
There is now an automated twitter update service about hosts going down / coming up.
Feel free to subscribe: https://twitter.com/bitcoin_status

Hi everybody,

I am proud to announce a reloaded version of http://bitcoin-status.org.
This actually started off as a university project with the goal to try to guess the remote visitors of a page by monitoring their loading and reaction time at specific points in time.
To also add some other use I am going to do this by monitoring bitcoin related sites.
Thereby I added a few side features and am also going to make some more data analysis as is required by the project.

What can you do right now?
  • See what page is currently online/offline
  • See detailed and historical (60min and 24hrs) information per host about server reaction time and page loading time in comparison to the current BTC price
  • Reliability comparison of each of the hosts in terms of uptime percentage, reaction and loading times

How accurate is the downtime/uptime
  • The down- and uptime is checked every minute per host
  • Each time each host is checked 5 times with 3 different methods (fsockopen, wget and curl)

Use of data
  • All collected data is stored in static json files and is publically available to make use of it in your own projects

Data freshness
  • Live data is updated every minute (planned is every 15 seconds, once a cronjob replacement is deployed)
  • Historical data (including charts) is updated every 5 minutes

What is planned for the near future?
  • Scientific analysis about drastic rise/fall of BTC price compared to server reliability (can a server handle a drastic price fall/drop?)
  • Remote guess about current (and historic) active users at a page (Those will be done by evaluating the reaction and load time data over a longer period)
  • Email Service to get informed about your choosen host coming online/going offline
  • Email Service to get informed about your choosen host going above/below your chosen loading/reaction time threshold

What is planned once enough data has been collected
  • By monitoring the BTC price (especially the offset between low and high) I will try to make a future estimate about user rush and possible downtime for the next 5-10 minutes and a (hopefully) accurate guess about the upcoming reaction/loading times

Where do I find it?
http://bitcoin-status.org

Get even more out of it
So if you have any other ideas what can be done with the data... let me know.

Edit: I have attached some pictures of the charts
