This is a pretty unique and cool concept. I'll definitely be following it. And while some will argue that the videos don't pay much atm, I think they pay more than they have to -- people do this stuff for fun. Like the high five 30 people in 30 seconds -- $6.50 for a quick little run. I like it, .

I thought of this and already prepared it server-side. Just have to add the client-side feature, but thx for the idea And yes, everyone will see the video after it is accepted.

Wow, very fresh idea and cool way for the users to make a good challenge, and make some bitcoin. The best with your site is people will have fun doing it; I am pretty sure we going to laugh a lot on some of those videos

This is interesting idea. Good concept to on this. Someone paid the site and create challenge then if someone do it got paid.

With the popularity of Bitcoin, many websites with unique ways of Earning Bitcoin appeared. some offer Bitcoin for answering questions, some for doing.

Also that would be faking it and someone will know the guy you used and will let him know so I don't think it's worth the trouble for just 0.03 BTC

Maybe it will be a good idea to let others add funds for dares already created. for example I would put another 0.001 BTC to the 100 push-ups dare so the total amount will be 0.006 BTC

Nice concept,you could have take to the next level but the entire website design and marketing strategy kinda sucks.You know,this shit could have been fiver for bitcoins.Do you have enough devs to work on the project ?

When the dare owner receives a video, he has 48 hours to accept it or refuse it. If he gets several videos in the same time, he can choose the one he wants. Public only see the winning video.

New and cool concept. But what about the fair system of site. How do we get to know that how many users submitted the video and time of its uploading. I would like to join it in future dares.

Obviously these impossible-to-prove dares should be refused.

The dare owner must say why he refuses a video. If the video maker thinks it is not justified, he can make a "recourse" and an admin will review the video. This feature is exactly there to prevent what you say, a dare owner that refuses all videos to keep the reward.

Coins are stored on a Coinbase account, using their API to generate addresses.

Very interesting site. I might do "100 pushups in a row", doesn't seem very hard.

The problem is, how do you ensure that a user doesn't make a dare, and just say they're not satisfied with the entries, no matter what they get? Someone could post something vague like "Make a video to make me laugh", which obviously they can lie and say that they didn't laugh. Another thing, how are the coins stored? Cold storage, what external API?

I never say it was a competition, it's more like "I dare you to make a sexy dance in a crowded place". First to do it earn the reward.

sorry, this is just my suggestion...

It would have to be someone who is famous.  I don't read tabloids, but say Jim Fallon were say scared of heights we could dare him to get on a ski lift.  People who were fans of him would watch that.

There is still the thrill of watching people do what you want for money

Kind of a cool idea so long as it doesn't get to the stages that we saw in Truth or Dare.
Website is pretty nice and easy to use.
The only downside with this is that I can't see why anyone would use the site really. The thrill that Trith or Dare offered was that it was illegal and the task were daring/dangerous. I don't see why people would pay to watch someone do 100 push-ups when they could log into YouTube and watch hundreds of similar videos for free. 

I still have to figure out a fair percentage, but I think I need to see users behavior to do that.

Someone visiting Cancun or another tropical destination could take a few minutes to do that and walk away with $30.

I'm sure people would be OK if you took a percentage of the "reward" once it was completed.  You have to make money too!

What does the 'views' beneath the Dares mean?

I'm just wondering if it's truly just 'views' or if it is somewhat like a counter for all the people that's taken the dare and/or submitted emails and video url's?

Anyway, this looks fun!

Would the general user/viewer be able to watch the submitted videos for the Dares? Or are they exclusive for the creators?    
(If we could watch, where might the video links be?)

I definitely like the idea and how you need BitcoinDare.com to be shown on the video as a proof (that could be some good advertising If the dares are done in public too) but there are somethings to improve in the website like the design and adding more information's.

I guess you should make registrations on the website instead of making the users send their emails each time , reviewing payments and dares by BitcoinDare.com also make things kinda complicated , centralized and takes more time then It should , It would be better If you could somehow make it P2P with an escrow system.

Well, this reminds me to "nerve" movie, but nerve more extreme.

I have visited the site, looks so simple and less information about your service like there's no FAQ page.
How if in one dare there are more than one user who do that dare? Owner of the dare choose who is the most satisfying?

In the future I think you should create a nickname for every users and make a score board to see "MVP" for every period (week,month,year), it will be fun to compete with others.

Nice and unique idea but I think with this kind of program you need people I mean a lot of people to participate to make it lively and to bring the fu because it'll be just another gpt site if not.
Looking forward to this. I hope you can have some kin of an app gor smartphone users to make it more accessible.

This is a great idea, it will be fun to follow this and see what people will do for some bitcoin.  Maybe in the future there could be some kind of reward / bounty for the best dare of the month / quarter.

What is BitcoinDare?

Ever heard of "Truth or dare"? Well, focus on dares, do it for bitcoins: you're on BitcoinDare.com!

How does it work?

Everyone can easily create a dare. After you deposited the reward, your dare will be available to users.

To earn the reward, take up the challenge & post a Youtube video to prove it. The dare creator can then designate you as the winner and you get the reward.

Can I dare people to do anything?

Almost! We will review & validate every dares, unless they are illegal, pornographic or life-threatening.

What if nobody posts a video for my dare?

Your dare will be available for 1 to 15 days (you choose). If you do not get any satisfying video after this period, you'll get 100% refund to the BTC address you used to deposit the reward.
When you get a video, you have 48 hours to accept it or refuse it. After this time, we will review it for you.

I posted a video but the dare creator refused it...

When the dare creator refuses a video, a reason is specified. If you don't agree with this decision, you can easily make a recourse. We will then review your video. We only offer this possibility to ensure nobody creates a dare, gets genuine videos but no dot accept to give up the reward.

How am I notified?

We send you emails throughout the lifecycle of your dare. If you don't get these emails, check your spam box.

How do you make money?

For now, we don't. In the future, we will probably add ads or take a fee on rewards. Donations are of course accepted
